My wife is 8 months pregnant with our first child and has enjoyed the pregnancy. I think she looks absolutely beautiful. Before pregnancy she weighed around 115 lbs, She exercises and is always at the gym. But she has put on about 60 lbs in the past 8 months, which I have no problem with. We were recently at a friend’s birthday . I heard my newlywed friend’s wife say “ She ballooned and she looks like that dress is going to explode, its practically bursting!. Boy she looks like sh*t!!! She spent the night laughing every time she was near us. I am very close with my friend and was very shocked when I heard his wife make this comment My wife didn't hear her, but I decided not say anything.. We have always been very gracious to them, and have taken them away on vacation and out to dinner many times. How do I handle this? I was about to punch her

you have to prioritize who's more important to you your wife or your disrespectful friends. kick them out and tell the talker to f*u*c*k off. when people are disrespecting a pregnant woman they are disrespecting the baby too.
this woman with the negative comments is probably insecure and jealous of your wife especially her pre-pregnancy body.

I think your friend's wife is just jealous. She's probably the one that will look like sh.it when she gets pregnant. Maybe you should just hang around with your friend, and ask that he not bring his wife. This may be hard to do, but I think your relationship with your wife is more important than the relationship with your friend. Plus, why didn't your friend tell his wife to stop with the embarrassing comments?

Your wife probably does look beautiful and that other lady knows she couldnt pull that off! Really, who makes fun of a pregnant woman? She is obviously insecure about something.. just laugh at her!

jealousy is powerful....dont let it bug u so bad...concentrate on ur wife. and keep ur distance from that jealous woman.
