boy or girl? wivestales?

8 weeks prego, what do the old wivestales say about no morning sickness or symptoms? boy or girl? just for fun :) what have you heard?

I'm 30 weeks and had virtually no morning sickness. And it's a boy! I'm also carrying all in the front ..people are surprised at how much of a tummy I really have when I turn around. I also craved lots of sour foods (unripe mango, kiwi, oranges). These are all supposedly signs that you're having a boy. Also, my skin has been very clear and people say I look better pregnant. Some say that if you break out a lot, you're most likely having a girl. But of course, these are all old wives' tales and we're just having fun!

And oh yeah, the whole weight gain thing..I'm having a boy and haven't gained much weight at all..only 18 pounds. So I guess that isn't true.

Im about the same gestation as you.
My gut instinct is saying a boy like wise with my first which was also a boy.

What also makes me believe im having another boy is that so far the pregnancy is exactly the same as before.

Ive gone on to eating all salad and fruit like before and i also like yourself have had no morning sickness no sore breasts no freq urinating or any type of symptoms apart the fact that hairs on my legs have never grown before and now they are starting to much to my dissapointment ive always enjoyed the fact that i had never had to shave my legs untill now.
But hey a baby is better than hair free legs lol

LOL i have 4 boys and everything with each of them was pretty much the same, BUT im now 28 weeks pregnant and again its a boy!!!! Im positive its a boy LOL ive had two ultrasounds to prove it. I thought for sure this was my girl. I was alot sicker, the chinese chart said girl, i broke out, i was carrying different. Everything pointed to a girl. They heart beat was 170. Now its 130. Its a boy. Those tales do not work trust me LOL. Goodluck!!!

It's all a pack of lies. The only one I have seen is the one done with a ring and a strand of hair. Someone dangles a wedding band over your palm with a piece of your hair. If it rocks back and forth it's a boy and if it goes in circles it's a girl... I call it voodoo, but the Puerto Rican girl that did it at work swears by it and it predicted my baby. I had really bad heartburn/morning sickness with my son, but nothing at all with my daughter.

I had no morning sickness whatsoever and I'm having a girl. Guess I'm bucking the trend.

Boys supposedly carry "higher" than a girl. Or maybe is vice-versa. ha, that's real helpful, huh?

I have heard and it did hold true for me! That a lot of morning sickness-it's a girl, and if you have really bad heartburn-it's got a head of hair-that held true for me too! Also, your suppose to gain more weight with a boy and less with a girl I have heard!

I've heard that no morning sickness means boys. Wives tale, yes, but I had no morning sickness with either pregnancy and I had two boys. :)

Everyone told me if you get sick a lot then you're having a boy. I am 21 weeks pregnant and have not gotten sick once and I'm having a boy. ...so I guess that doesn't always hold true!

well its not a wivestale but i know for a fact that girls have faster heart rates boys are normaly around 140 or so
my sons was 143 im prego now and this babies heart rate is more around 160 so i think its a girl!!! :)

I've had three kids and the only wives tales that I went by was its a girl if you're carrying high and its a boy if you're carrying low. Also if its a girl your breasts get HUGE. Boys spread your hips and butt. It was true for me.
