I just had my second child 2 months ago and even though I didn't gain as much weight with him as I did with my first. I still had quite a bit of weight from my first and now I am over 200lbs. I use to weigh 145 before my kids and I don't eat that much and I do aerobic exercise Mon-Fri. I drink plenty of water, but the weight is just not coming off. Any suggestions?

Try what I did. Walking..

It's one of the best forms of exercise and it doesn't cause a lot of stress on your body. It's even helpful because when the weather is nice you can take the kids with you.

It may take a while (there's no "quick fix" to losing weight and keeping it off) but it's worth it.

After having my four children I ended up weighing 215 and after watching what I eat and making sure I walk when I have free time I got down to 135 within a year. I've kept it off for the past 4 years, so I know it worked for me.

Good Luck!

Try Weight Watchers.... I did it about 2 years ago and lost 40+ pounds and kept it off until I became PG...and cannot wait to get back on it! If you dont want to do meetings, you can sign up for their "E-tools" online and you just log in all the stuff you eat. The plan is flexible enoguh that you can still go out fridya nights or whatever but it really helps keep you focused. Plus the little charts that show your weight loss are motivaters!!

Weight Watchers! I lost all my baby wieght and then some in less than a year doing the weightwatchers online. And I had gained over 60 lbs. It is cheap, I eat my own food, I don't have to go to meetings, and it is EASY!
I know I sound like a commercial, but I had tried every diet, diet pill, and program out there, and Weight Watchers is the only thing that works for me.
Congrats on the baby! :)

Well its only been 2 months, which isn't long, so don't be too hard on yourself....

But if you want immediate and definite results, I would recommend a true "diet" approach, such as counting calories (1,500 per day minimum) or else going on Weight Watchers "points." Both of these require you to write down what you are eating and assess the calories or points in each.

Weight loss is all about calories consumed and calories burned. To lose one pound per week, you need to consume 500 fewer calories per day than your body needs. Its that simple, but also not so simple, if you know what I mean.

Have you thought about joining TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly)? Its a weight loss support group that is non-profit and a lot less expensive than Weight Watchers.

I gained about 50 pounds with my second child and I was able to lose in about7-8 months by doing 3-5 times per week for about 30-45 minutes, pilates 2x per week and eating a healthy diet, but not starving myself. My weight did not budge for about 3 months, I was very frustrated but kept at it, eventually the pounds came off, a few a week, slowly but surely, and I've managed to keep them off by exercising about 3 times a week and eating pretty good with an occasional splurge.
My advice to you is to keep exercising, but don't over do it, make sure your eating enough, don't starve yourself, you might want to join weight watchers or jenny craig, and keep drinking lots of water. I know the weight will start coming off eventually, good luck and congrats on your new baby!!!!!!!

not eating that much isn't good-it is better to build up your metabolism and eat frequent smaller meals. i know with kids it is often hard to eat the right types of food-so pay attention to what you put in you fridge and mouth. either way remember that no diet will work (ues, they might be a temporary fix but not for good) you have to change your eating habits. (Also, if you have lost some weight a lot of people get stuck at certain points for a while, you just have to be patient and continue with you exercies and good eating habits.
