I'm almost 11 weeks pregnant, taking my vitamins and eating right. I am not overly active. But I get these terrible dizzy spells. I missed work today because I couldn't get my head off the pillow till a couple minutes ago and I'm still dizzy.

What did you do to help deal with this?

You need water. I was just reading about that, its was something about your kidneys working harder, peeing more often and being dehydrated. Simply because when your pregnant you make more urine, you make more saliva. FYI, lack of iron (anemia) will make you tired and usually that wont happen until a little later on. But you should call your doctor instead of asking on here. You never know what it could be. So call you doctor. Yahoo Answers is not a good substitute for medical care!
Ane please don't take any drugs or pills. Most really aren't safe for pregnancy. (Like mucinex.) If you ask your Doc to give you a list of what otc meds are ok.

The only time that I was ever dizzy with any of my pregnancys was when my blood pressure would go up. Have you been to the doctor about this? Mine didn't ever get very high either, so I guess it doesn't have to be real high to cause the spells. Be careful and good luck.

It sounds like a sinus infection. Talk to your doc about what you can take. He will probably tell you to take Mucinex.

Also check with your doc to see if you can get some prescription prenatal vitamins that help against nausea.
I take premesisRX....no nausea.

My cousin was extremely dizzy when she was pregnant. Her midwife said she wasn't getting enough Iron. Maybe you should call the doctor and ask. I am sure they could help you.
