My Doctor "Stripped my membranes" on thursday and my fluid was leaking on sat and I was induced sun. I know it is different for everyone but my mom had it done with me and she was in labor 3 days later. On the other hand I had a friend who had it done twice 1 week apart and nothing happened for her. So it's hard to tell

If you are talking about stripping the membranes or sweeping the membranes then yes. I believe that most women go into labor within 48 hours of having this procedure done.

It's called stripping the membranes. You are probably overdue and yes, pack your bag....labor should start soon!

In other words, get ready it will be happening soon but it might not br the quick result your hoping for!
