Pregnancy - March 2007

Well as I said before, I am worried that grinding with clothes on can get me pregnant. There were no fluids that came from him. My period was short (3 days) and I took the test. I tested negative but the last time it happened was day 2 of my period. I'm been cramping a lot. I had brown spots for discharge. Headaches. Not enough sleep. possibly appetite swings and mood swings i'm not worried about, cause my personality is like that. Anyway, I need real answers cause I'm tired of getting up in the middle of the night and worrying about it.

HI

This might sound a bit weird but i am currently just over 3 months pregnant with my 3rd child.
Obviously i have been throught it all before, but people keep telling me that the 3rd is the worst.
Also i am a bit worried as during my first labour my waters didnt break and i had to have them broken where as with my 2nd he was actually born in the water sack where it didnt break.
Has anyone else had this ? also can you refuse to have your waters broken ?
I feel that because my waters didnt break with my second it was a much easier labour and he was born within 5 min of getting to hospital.
I know its a bit soon to be worrying but i think its everyone saying the 3rd is the worst and that it gets harder than the 1st.

I had an early ultrasound (5 weeks, 6 days), and the Ultrasound tech clearly saw the yolk sac, but could not see the baby. She said, your baby is not there. It may never develop. I asked if it could possibly be just too small to see. She said, maybe, but wait and see. Those words really dampened my excitement about the pregnancy. My doctor was not as doom-and-gloom as the ultrasound tech was, but I was so afraid to get my hopes up.
Finally, I had another ultrasound at 10 1/2 weeks and was so relieved to instantly see the baby - arms and legs a flailing! Had I known that the inconclusive result of the first ultrasound was even a possibility, I would've declined to have it! All that worry over nothing!

I'm just curious how many people have had a doctor, nurse, or other medical staff tell you that something seems to be wrong with your baby.... and they turned out to be wrong?

Why is it whenever i get up and try to walk around it causes me so much pain in my tummy * the whole tummy * but then @ times it makes me wanna grab at my lower stomache....and my tummy gets really hard. It usually gets soft when i sit back down.. why does this happen?

i haven't had a period in a long time. in august of 06 i had a tubal pregnancy and never got my period so far. i have been having unprotected ( i figure you can't get pregnant if no periods). i know have alot of pressure, peeing alot, tired, light cramping, but still no period, and i'm always sick from 7pm till the next morning. i took a test today but it didn't work and i remember my doctor telling me it can take up to me being 5 months along before i finally show up on a urine test or a blood test strong enough. we found out i was pregnant last time cuz they thought i had appendixides and did a ultrasound. i really don't know what to do. am i over reacting or am i actually being smart.

I have had two vaginal births and two C Sections. I liked the C Section better. Even though there was more pain at first with C Section=thank God for pain pills, I didn't have stitches and didn't have to endure those horrible sitz baths. Feed back, please No snide remarks please

I'm pregnant now by a married man who THOUGHT he was done with his wife. He recently got some bad news regarding one of his children(not by the wife) and since than has not spoke to me. Before the incident we were togther everyday. Now he seems to be spending alot of time with the wife. Is it that she can better console him threw this trying time for him or is it that my pregnacy only adds to his problems. We did speak about abortion and he knows that he would have to pay for it, so could this just be his way of telling me to do it my self? Does anyone think another abortion would harm me or prevent me from having a baby when my time is right?

i feel bad because i ask so many questions but i try to answer others when i can and i appreciate everyone who takes the time to answer me and try to help thankyou so much but anyways as for another question its my first pregnancy im 37 weeks my Dr.Appt 2 days ago said i was 1cm dialated and 70%effaced i have no idea what contractions feel like everyone says like menstrual cramps has anyone felt contractions on one side? at first then it eventually progressed to both sides im expieriencing mentrual like cramps more towards the right side of my pelvic area instead both sides???

Second pregnancy. Dr. stripped membranes 1 1/2 days ago. I've been losing a lot of my mucus plug since yesterday morning. Should I expect it to turn pinkinsh/redish/brownish when it's close to the end? Mine has been clear/snotlike since I started losing it. I have lost TONS! At the end of losing your plug, was it redish in color? Just curious if the stripping membranes thing is working for me! Hopefully the bloody show is next. been having a ton of braxton hicks!!!

I got my period during mid-Feb which came a few days earlier than expected. A week and a half after however I started feeling dizzy, chest pain, cramps and brown spotting (light pink occasionally). And out of a sudden I had this heavy bright red bleeding. Somehow when I saw the blood I burst out in tears right away...The bleeding has stopped soon after but I still have these cramps and lower back pain. Could this be a very early miscarriage? (A week or two prior to my period in mid Feb my partner and I had been having unprotected sex...)

It's been almost 6 weeks since my miscarriage and I still haven't gotten my period...How long did it take for you to have your period after a miscarriage? I was diagnosed with a blight ovum at 6.5 weeks and no D and C was needed. I took a couple of pregnancy test and all were negative...

I just find myself astounded at some of the things I dream about. The ones that blow my mind the most are the sexual dreams! They make me feel like such a sl*%! I'm serious! Last night I dreamed that I had sex with two of my friend's husbands, and one was in public with every one watching! Now I feel like if I see either one of them I am going to blush like crazy! Do any of you other pregnant women have dreams this crazy? I feel like I am going crazy!

I'm married but not taking any precautions, so could say we are trying for a baby - but not the point where i'm taking temperatures & that stuff. I've now missed 2 periods (over week late with my second). iI went to the doctor after missing my 1st period & he said there was nothing he could do untill i got a positive. I have taken many HPT's but all are negtaive. If i was i worked it out that i would be 9 weeks pregnant. I've booked a blood test with doctor but just wanted to know before i go if this has happened to someone or if you know someone this has happened to - where they have been pregnant and the tests have been negative?
I am not stressed in anyway my periods are always regular. i have been experiencing slight back ache for about month and urinating more, nausea, bloated stomach and tingly breasts for about 4 days. Plus I do feel pregnant, sounds stupid i know!
If its not pregnancy does anyone know what it could be? once again if you have experienced the same thing?

I gave birth 6 days ago. I had a second degree tear, and got stitches in my pernium (sp?). Last night, after peeing, some of the stitches came out (enough to see knots) I am uncomfortable there now, but not in any increased pain.I was wondering if any one else has experienced this.

I woke up this morning and had a little gush of fluid, not a lot but it didnt smell like urine and wasn't like dishcharge or anything it was clear, could this be my water leaking?? I havnt been having regular contactions, I have one every now and then but not anything regular. And i'm 38 weeks.

First of all, there is a good chance that I'm pregnant. Since yesterday, I have been feeling like I need to urinate every 5 minutes but when I go it's only a small amount, and sometimes it hurts. My urine is an orangish color also. Does anyone know what this means? I've been drinking water nonstop so I don't think I'm dehydrated. I have been taking 400mg of folic acid every day, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it? Please give some advice?
