I'de have to say i preferd a Vaginal birth. I've had two natural and one C-section which was with my last only 3mths ago.
Yes it was easier laying on a table and having the doctors do everything and not being able to feel anything during delivery but the pain after wards was terrible. I could barley walk for a few weeks and when i could i couldnt go very far, i was'nt allowed to pick up my eldest daughter for ages. I still needed strong pain medication 2 weeks after the operation and im not one that likes even taking panadol when i have a headache.
Ide just rather get it all over and done with and do natural and deal with the pain for a few hours then a few weeks and be able to get back to things a heck of alot earlier then i could when i had the c-sec.
I cant understand how people can want to have a c-sec done if it isnt necerssery (i had too due to my daughter being breech but if i had a choice i would have gone natural)
The most painful part of a natural is the contractions but thats no where as bad as the pain you feel recovering from a c-sec.

confident the restoration is plenty worse with a c-seccton in case you have a call bypass with the vaginal delivery confident you sense the contractions yet (you do with a c-area too (unplanned c-sections) And an epidural is an decision in the two which makes those contractions sense like no longer something regrettably it additionally somewhat makes you numb from the waist down so your legs sense like a hundred lbs. human beings say which you won't be able to sense the c-area properly they are full of crap you could sense it they are literally pulling you aside to get the toddler out. I squeezed my hubbys hand rattling close to sparkling off with the c-area. With vaginal births theres consistently the prospect you should tear, yet there are issues you're able to do to assist ward off it. And to me the biggest subject with c-sections is the soreness afterwards that's strategies boggling each and every little thing hurts it hurts to chuckle it hurts to respire and what they do no longer permit you recognize is it hurts once you have gas too (for me it replaced into almost as undesirable as a results of fact the contractions. additionally women who've c-sections have a larger danger of submit partum melancholy

I had one of each! And I liked the vaginal one so much better. You can get up and walk and do what you want too. With the c-section. I am still recovering from it 7 weeks later. And you can't do much of anything for 6 weeks! But, we plan on another one so I will have to go through it again. The baby is worth it!

I have had one of each - my 2nd was a planned section due to breech presentation. I tried everything I could to get him turned around (including manual version - ouch). I am 37 weeks with babe #3 and am planning a homebirth (VBAC). I reallly hope I don't have to have another section. The pain lasted wayyy longer from the section. I could not hold/nurse my almost 10lb baby properly and holding my older son was almost entirely out of the question and that broke my heart. My first baby was born posterior so it was a tough labour (with a non-working epidural) involving stitches also but was easier to handle. (I was not one of those fortunate women who have 4 hour labours and drop out a wee 6 lb'er and am comparing surgery to that kind of delivery).
So ya, my vote is a vaginal delivery.

I've had a natural vaginal birth that ended up being a nightmare and so my next delivery was done by C Section to avoid such complications reoccurring. The C-Section also ended up with complications, so I prefer natural as the 6wks driving ban after a section was annoying.

I had two vag and two c I have to say the c section was much easier. I never really had much pain after mine. Or it is possible that I just didn't realize it do to the fact that all my kids were preemies.
I didn't do pain meds or any thing. I do remember it hurting like heck when ever I would cough though.

all woman recover differently i recovered faster from my csection and there was 13 years space in them so I was even older and still recovered heck i was cleaning and cooking the 2 day home from the hospital. Take your pain meds and move move move But dont overdo it. But the more you move the better off you are. Breastfeeding helps also with the healing process and the weight loose due to not being as active for 6-8 weeks after. and the biggest plus is that it is GREAT for your baby. I was scared to death to have one but now that i have it wasnt near as tramatic as i expected. I cried and cired when they told me that i would have to have one. But all is good and dont have any regrets good luck.

I would have to say vaginal!
Yeah it hurt a hell of a lot worse,
but it only takes 2 weeks to recover from
that, and you have to do things with the baby!
& with a c-section its harder! The recovery is
longer! I dont want to have a longer recovery.
I would rather take the pain and get on with it,
and recover a lot faster! I dont want to miss any
chance of spending time with my baby :)

I had one vag and 2 c-sec and if I could have a vag with this one I would. I liked the vag because I did it ALL NATURAL!!! It wasnt until afterwards that I had a spontanious hematoma form inside my vag but its still alot less scary then a c-sec I hate being numb from the chest down its VERY scary for me.
