Definitely call your doctor. They'll probably want to see you right away. They will do a test to check to see if you are leaking amniotic fluid. If you are not, then you can go home and not worry. If you are--they will probably want to deliver the baby right away. Once you start to leak amniotic fluid, there is an increased chance that the baby is no longer in a sterile environment. Please, call your doctor right away!

Sounds like it could definitely be ruptured membranes.
When my water broke w/ my son, It gushed out when I stood up to go to the bathroom. I honestly wasn't sure whether I had peed or not, but I didn't think I had. We were already in the hospital, so the nurse threw a test strip down and it was positive for amniotic fluid. I noticed that more fluid gushed out w/ each ctx.
Once the membranes are ruptured, there is an increased risk of infection after about 24 hours. It's usually recommended to go to the hosp right away b/c of that. However, the examns done in the hospital can INCREASE the risk of infection dramatically. Plus, it puts you "on the clock." Most docs will start pushing induction and/or c-section if you don't deliver w/in a narrow time frame.
You might choose to go to the hosp or hang out for a little while and see if things pick up for you. Ruptured membranes can make labor go faster if your body is ready to go.

it could be. to be better safe than sorry, you should call or go to your er. when my water broke there was no mistaking what it was. i heard a little pop and the water kept gushing out. it seemed like every time i moved i made a little puddle. just keep in mind that if your water is leaking or has broke, that after 24 hours there is a great risk of infection to you and your baby because the baby has lost its cocoon or safety net.

Depends on what you mean by little. I think I'd call the doctor and have them check.
Contractions don't always follow your water breaking.
Most docs like to monitor you in some way once your water breaks because infection becomes an issue as more time passes.
Don't panic, just call your OB and do what he says.

Try calling your OB/GYN. They can give you the best advice. Medical questions should be best left to the professionals and not asked here. Sorry.
