I'm married but not taking any precautions, so could say we are trying for a baby - but not the point where i'm taking temperatures & that stuff. I've now missed 2 periods (over week late with my second). iI went to the doctor after missing my 1st period & he said there was nothing he could do untill i got a positive. I have taken many HPT's but all are negtaive. If i was i worked it out that i would be 9 weeks pregnant. I've booked a blood test with doctor but just wanted to know before i go if this has happened to someone or if you know someone this has happened to - where they have been pregnant and the tests have been negative?
I am not stressed in anyway my periods are always regular. i have been experiencing slight back ache for about month and urinating more, nausea, bloated stomach and tingly breasts for about 4 days. Plus I do feel pregnant, sounds stupid i know!
If its not pregnancy does anyone know what it could be? once again if you have experienced the same thing?

I've heard of women having a negative URINE test while being pregnant but never a BLOOD test. So, it's possible that you are. IF your intuition tells you that you are pregant, then it's pretty likely.

However, pregnancy is not the only reason periods are missed. If you are not charting your fertility signs, it's unlikely you know when you have ovulated. If you have NOT ovulated, you will usually not have a period. It's normal for that to happen very occassionally even to a woman who's usually regular. Delayed ovulation can also cause strong pregnancy like symptoms.

It doesn't sound stupid at all! It sounds like you very well could be pregnant. Usually if you miss a period, like you had mentioned, it's because you are stressed out or you exercise a lot. I know one of my girlfriends who runs a few miles every day and she only has a period that lasts for 2 days and she only has to wear one panty liner!! LUCKY HER! I have also known some girls who had negative pregnancy tests but they were pregnant!! You definitely have the symptoms of being pregnant. I am 14 weeks along right now and I knew that I was pregnant before I even took a EPT, I "felt pregnant" just like you had said. This is my second child so I knew how I felt with my first. I have heard of women wanting or wishing to be pregnant so badly that they actually start getting pregnancy symptoms and missed periods and there bellys can even enlarge... but it doesn't sound like that is what you have done.. I say, go into the dr's office to get the test and don't worry about (easier said than done I know) but in the mean time while you are waiting for the results- just to be on the safe side I would avoid drinking and smoking or being around smoke and maybe watch what you are eating a little more, just until you know. That way, if you are- you've already developed good habits! Hope this has been helpful to you and relieved some of the doubt. And if you are, Congrats!
