The amount of hormones the pill releases into her system lasts long enough to cover you for the week she's taking the dud pills. Wearing a condom is always a good plan just in case, though. The pill is 99% effective, not 100%. It's true that condoms do help prevent the spread of AIDS, but it's not limited to menstrual blood. The AIDS virus is present throughout an infected person's sexual fluids, and a non-infected person can contract it through unprotected sex at any time of the month. If you have even a microscopic cut within your vagina, you can get it. Same goes for your penis, but you can also get it through your urethra (pee-hole) too. The blood does increase your risk of infection.

Hope this helps!

No, I mean...there is a SLIGHT risk of getting pregnant (at any time of the cycle) of getting pregnant while taking BC pills ...but the odds are very very slim and the 'dummy pills' are SUPPOSED to be dummy pills...they are included in the packet to keep a woman in the habit of taking a pill every day. Every pill comes with the option...21 day or 28 day supply....21...you take for 21 days and then dont take a pill for 7 days.....28 there are 21 'active' pills and 7 sugar pills.....BC pills suppress ovulation - so ostensibly, there will never be an egg to fertilize.
*Be aware if your partner switches to a new brand of pills or is given a prescription antiobiotic to take....you should use an additional form of BC at that time...for the whole 28 day cycle....

It is possible. Rare, but possible. The human body is a complex machine and sometimes "glitches" occur. The birth control pill is meant to regulate a woman's menstrual cycle, which in theory, is supposed to be able to help plan and prevent pregnancy. The female menstrual cycle is just a shedding of the lining of the uterus, but if an embryo attaches itself during a specific time and attaches deeply enough then a pregnancy during one's menstrual cycle can occur. The condom/pill combo is aprrox 99% effective against pregnancy, but more important the condom is a protection against STD's.

Good Luck.

Anything is possible, but not that likely. If she is on the pill for atleast a couple months that pretty much makes you safe, women are mor fertal the last couple weeks before their period. during there period and the week or so before it the egg travels down and out of them, that is why they have a period to expel the old egg. You are probable safe but the bad news is you havea month to worry about it (and women can still have their period and be pregnate too, though this is very rare.)

no as long as she is even in the mood to have sex.. just wear a condom because i heard that you can up the risk of contracting aids... i have no clue if its true or not but if the blood from your girl get inside your penis it could cause infection... so wear a glove and it should be fine... also make sure she has been taking her pills for more than a month and it should be in her system so she doesnt get pregnant... but dont take any chances!

Pills are not 100% effective. Especially if you don't take them right. You have a chance to get pregnant anytime you have intercourse. Period or not.

You can not get a chick pregnant while she is on her period, regardless of if she is on the pill or not.

Pick up a biology book.
