Pregnancy - March 2007

All I keep thinking is "why me?" I already have 2 children, I don't want to do it all over again!! but I don't agree with the alternative, it is totally against everything that I believe in, I'm thinking what's meant to be is meant to be, but I don't think it's fair for me to have the child if I don't really want it, can anybody suggest a different way for me to think about it, because I don't think I can go through a termination either...oh god....please somebody help me!!!

I am afraid of telling my parents face to face that I am pregnant and I told my mom over the phone and she doesnt believe me becasue I am that 18 year old child that never does anything wrong that graduated high school with a 3.9 gpa. my bf have decided to keep the baby and his parents know but my mom doesn't believe me when I told her. HELP!

I woke up this morning with searing pain in my left hip that radiated down my leg and into the small of my back. I was lying on my left side when I woke up and immediately rolled over onto my back with my knees bent which alleviated most of the pain. It hasn't really hurt all day except for a dull ache. I also had quite a few "twitches" in my left knee over the last week. I'm 23 weeks pregnant, and have heard that sciatica can be a problem during pregnancy. I have a doctor appointment next week, but would like to know if anyone here thinks this sounds like sciatica? Do you know what the common treatments are for it? Or do I just have to live with the pain?

i have a two year old daughter already and i'm 30 weeks along with twins. i'm beginning to get really nervous on what to expect. does anyone have any advice?? i know it's going to be hard, but is it really as bad as i think it's going to be?

My mother-in-law has always had issues with me marry her only child. She has been very possessive over my husband his entire life and is very controlling.

Ever since she found out we are having our first baby she has been making a lot of comments like, “How is my baby doing?” and “How is our baby today?”

I don’t know why it bugs me, but it does. I know she is excited because this is her first grandchild, but this is my husband’s and my baby and she doesn’t own our baby.

Did you have family members who did this? Do I just ignore her like I have been doing and let it go? I am afraid her possessive behavior is just the beginning!

I have been having unprotected sex with my fianee and he only went in me one time. I know it is possible to get pregnant even if he doesn't go in me if it's unprotected. He went in me on 2/12/07 and my period was due 2/22/07. I never got my period, there has been two times since the 12th that I went to the restroom and there was the littlest blood, the rest of the times I went to the bathroom after that, there was nothing. Since the 21st, I have taken at least 4 hpt's and they all came out negative. I wont go to the doctor until I get a positive because I am not going to pay a fortune for a hpt there or a blood test unless I know for sure I am. I would rather waste a little money getting hpts at the store than going to the doctor and spending over $100 on a hpt or blood test... What do you think is going on? What do you guys think? I have thrown up 1 time out of no where, Im not sick to my tummy,I have abdomine an back pains, my breasts have been sore an seem bloated..Wats going on?

I scheduled my first appointment the day after getting a positive HPT, and I have about 2, 2.5 weeks until I should be at 8 weeks, when the doctor's office scheduled my appointment. I expect the blood tests and the pap smear type checks and all that, but what I really want to know is will they be checking for the heartbeat this early--or maybe even doing an ultrasound? I ask because my mom (a first-time granny) wants to be there if she'll be able to see or hear her first grandchild.

Ok, I have applied for medicaid but my bf makes too much money, even tho its just enough to live on..... To get insurance thru his work is insane, its like 300 dollars a month for just the 2 of us. And if we took that much out of his check each month we would not be able to put food on the table. I had my daughter on medicaid last time, but I was single then. I have tried calling free clinics but they are no help, they are for women that just found out they are pregnant. And I am 20 weeks. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to get some coverage to get to the dr. I have not been yet. I tried getting that maternity card thing but I dont have a checking account so I cant do it. This is very frustrating and I have tried everything I know to do. Any help would be appreciated.

If all you have to say is go get a job and get coverage do not reply to this please. Im pregnant no one will hire me, I have tried!

Ok I am 16 weeks pregnant and have been obsessed with tomatos. My husband swears he read somewhere that if you eat to much of one thing while you are pregnant that the child will be allergic. Has anyone ever heard of this or can anyone try to find some info that supports this theory.

I am 36 and a half weeks. I have always measured way bigger. ( im measuring 41 weeks now ) ive been between 1/2 and 1 cm since last tuesday that we know of. ( first tiem i got checked ) I have been feeling like i am going to have him soon with all the braxton hicks, the back pains, tiredness. I jsut feeel so weak and i dont wanna be pregnant anymore!!! Its taking everything out of me.

Today my doctor told me im still almost 1 cm dialated and cervix is still high. His head is down, but still has room to move so his head isnt engaged yet. My body is telling me Phew your almost done, but my doctor is telling me,hey you have a while to go..

What do you guys think? Anyone ever feel like this.

I noticed the other day when I wiped after urinating a really small peice of brown discharge. I am 6 weeks 3 days pregnant. I know its not implantation bleeding, I had that on the day I was supposed to get my period. I have all normal pregnancy symptoms and no cramping at all or any heavy bleeding. I noticed that it went away last night, and this afternoon I saw a smaller piece of light brown discharge. Is this something to be concerned about? I know its not an STD, I was just tested for all that.

My family all live in England, my husband’s family is in Texas and most of our friends are back in Arizona while we live in California. My husband has suggested that we do a virtual baby shower, but I don’t want to seem like I am pushing for presents and I don't know were to start or how to do a virtual baby shower. I was originally going to just post were I am registered with the birth announcement but my husband thinks that it will be too late as we need to know what stuff we still have to buy before our son is born.

hi im nearly 35 weeks pregnant with my first baby and at my midwife app today she told me the babys head was engaged into my pelvis, Is this normal at this stage, she said it was but a few people have said to me its a bit early.
i've now got alot of pressure down in my pelvis and pain sometimes when the baby moves. i know its obv not labour but does this mean labour will happen soon or can i still go to my due date?

We are currently waiting to find out the sex of our baby,which will be in a couple weeks, we have all the big stuff but as far as the little things we havnt started that yet, also we are waiting on clothes but waiting is not easy on me i can't go to the store with out wanting to grab somthing, when did you start buying, and what are some things i can buy now that i dont have to wait for? I am 11 weeks and 4 days pregnant and feel little flutters in the lower part of my belly. Is it possible to feel the baby move already? I don't remember when I felt the baby moved in my previous pregnancies. It's been almost 9 years since I've been pregnant. Any one else felt movements of the baby this early?

Hello, i've been doing a lil bit of research and came across a sugestion that drinking 4 heaped tablespoons of brown sugar in warm water can induce labour.

Has anyone heard of this and any theories as to how it works, if it works lol.

i hate to ask this question cause i kno lots of ppl ask similar questions but everyones different so i had to ask. i just wondered if anyone else had similar things happen to him. i kno a woman can make herself think she's pregnant when she is actually not but i couldnt have imagined here. i usually get my period round the 21st or 23rd or25th somewhere there and also start cramping 4 or 5 days b4. last february i didnt cramp and didnt get a period round the usual time. instead on the 23rd feb i had some very mild cramps similar to my period cramps and i tought my period was coming but wen i went to the bathroom i only found a spot of blood and thats it everything stopped (sound like impl.b) 5 days after that i started cramping again period like cramps but very mild coming on and off. i cramped 4 5 days but my period still didnt come. i took a pregnancy test but its negative. could i b preg and getting a negative result ? no other pregcy symptoms apart from no period and bloating

I am 4 weeks today and had a little bit of reddish brown discharge (sorry TMI I know) is this ok or should I call the doctor? I was only a small amount so far and I had no spotting before I found out I was pregnant. I hace still had cramps on and off the past few days.

i had my blood test done and it says everythink is fine and normal. but i am feeling really faint and dizzy and feel as if i am going to pass out i dont feel like this all the time i thought it was anemia (spelt wrong i know) i had anemia after my first baby thats y i thought it was again. i am 13 weeks pregnant. any ideas what it could be has this happened to anyone else

ok, well im 39 weeks and 1 day along, and we've had a rough time getting here, but now that that time is about over its exciting, nerve racking and everything else...anyways, i live with my mother in law to save money, and yesterday, she got a sudden urge to clean the entire FROG, for people who dont know what that is, its a "family room over garage" anyways, i mean she spent ALL day cleaning it, while me on the other hand have been a mess, i cant get rid of aches and pains, we know the baby dropped on friday(march.2nd) and is in -3 station, which is great progress seeing as on the 28th he was still floating! this is my first child, so were really hoping that he will come on time and not late, but is it possiable for someone else to get the urge to nest? i mean, the husband/partner can get the whole pregnancy sympothy symptoms...
