hi im nearly 35 weeks pregnant with my first baby and at my midwife app today she told me the babys head was engaged into my pelvis, Is this normal at this stage, she said it was but a few people have said to me its a bit early.
i've now got alot of pressure down in my pelvis and pain sometimes when the baby moves. i know its obv not labour but does this mean labour will happen soon or can i still go to my due date?

well i didnt feel the baby drop as such but was very uncomfy in bed last night with pressure and back pain, this may be when he dropped down.
also i don't know if i am dilated any? i have not had an internal exam from my midwife, i don't think this happens until i go to deliver the baby ??

they say in first time mothers the baby engages anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks before going into labour. feel lucky that you didnt feel the baby drop, alot of people say they dont, and i did, it felt like i got slamed by a 2x4

Due date could be off. Are you dilated at all? Some women go their last couple of months with the head that low and dilated to 2 or 3. Bet you're walking like you were riding a horse??? Yup, you're going to be uncomfortable, but the baby and you are healthy, right?
