Pregnancy - March 2007

I have two children already, so I know a bit about this topic, but I am soconfused now.

OK, first of all, I took a pregnancy test last week, and it was positive. I was about 3 days late for my period at that point. Later that same day, I began cramping and bleeding lightly (red blood, but very light flow). I am still cramping/bleeding, but it is not constant.

My doc was concerned so we did an ultrasound- the tech could not see anything, not even a sack. I have to go back to my doc to be screened for ectopic, but I have no symptoms other than the bleeding.

Has anyone had anything like this happen? I am very confused and freaked out. Thanks.

Im about 10 weeks pregnant today and was looking at other womens pix of them @ 10 weeks and you could really tell they are pregnant! my tummy is almost exactly the same as before! I'm kind of worried : \ I am thin, but so were the women in the pix... the only time i actually look kind of pregnant is after i eat my stomach like blows up lol! any one else go through this or could I have had a missed miscarriage or something?? my first appointment to see the doc is in 5 days...

I took two pregnancy tests when my period was due and they were both negative. im not under stress, im not sick, and no infection.. Yet still no period. I am never late I always start regulary. Is something wrong with me? Anyone else ever experience anything like this? Im getting really worried. my boyfriend didnt get off but we didnt use condoms.

The ultrasound was so clear. I saw the whole outline of my baby but its head was very big. should i be concerned?

I am pregnant with my third baby and today I had my first ob visit. The nurse kept trying to tell me I should take a birthing class. I took the class with my first pregnancy and was utterly bored. Nothing agianst the instructor but I already knew all of the stuff they were telling us. I read alot of books and watched baby special delivery every time it was on. Not to mention my husband didnt want to go. Do you think there's any reason I should take one this time around? My first labor and second labor when pretty much the same way. As long as there are no complications I plan on my third being the same also. Also has anyone ever just taken a refresher class?

Is is possible for you baby to be alive for the 23 weeks of your pregnancy, then all of the sudden become "a still birth baby'? or is there a certain time that this happens?

I have had a 26 day cycle for the past 15 + years. I'm now at 28 days and no period. We didn't have intercourse anywhere near the day of ovulation. We had intercourse 3 days before my last period. We also had intercourse 18th day of this cycle. What are my chances of being pregnant? What else could be causing me to be late?

im 28 weeks pregnant now and have been getting heavy discharge from my breasts my midwife told me that its colostrum and it can mean that i will go into labor early has anyone else heard of this? im on preg sites all the time and have read about 5 pregnancy books and havent heard of this anywhere im really worried about this any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i know midwives are the professionals and they should know but ive never heard of this.

Okay my bf cheated on me because i wanted to wait to have sex till we new each other better i only ever had sex with my ex. bf and was nervous about having sex with my new bf.I got really mad and out of spite had sex with my ex. bf who has a gf that i hate.Afterward i felt bad and my ex.bf and i decided to act like it never happened.Fastfoward to now 2 months later my period never came and i have a positive pregnancy test.I have never had sex with my current bf who cheated on me. I am only 19 and scared i thought you could not get pregnant the day after your period!?

This is my third pregnancy and know I wasnt this tired in either of my previous pregnancies.Iuse to go to bed no earlier than 11-12 and now can barely keep my eyes open past 10. Could it be that since I am older the effects are stronger now???
Will I get some more energy back once I get into my 2nd trimester???

we have just found out im 4 weeks pregnant and niether me or my partner feel ready for a baby. we have discussed the pros and cons. we always knew that if we were to have a baby, we would want it to be brought up in a stable home with everything it could need. my partner wants to be there everynight the child comes home from school, be able to wathc them grow up. none of this is possible. he wants me to have an abortion as this seems the best option for us, and i agree but i do not feel as if i could go through with it and live with the regrets. does anyone have any useful advice?
by the way we have been using two forms of contraception.the pill and condoms, so we cant understand how i got pregnant

I had sex on the first day of my period, and was wondering if there is a chance of becoming pregnant? My period typically lasts 5 days, and it was done after three. The second and third day weren't my typical period. I had light pink spotting and that was it. Could I be pregnant, or am I stressing too much over this?

I am 39 weeks with 2nd pregnancy I think I felt a couple of contractions but nothing compared to my first pregnancy. I'm dilated to 2cm and 70% effaced and wouldn't have guessed I was. Is that normal? I can still do anything I've normally done, the baby moves around a lot but no major pain or tired ness like my 1st pregnancy. Has anyone else felt like this?

Dark blood that looks almost black, is that old blood? Does it count as your period? What does it mean when your period get shorter? And what does it mean when your period starts off light, get's a lil heavy, and goes back light, and on...? What does it mean when you get lots more discharge? Last, what does it mean when you never had breast tenderness before or while being on period. Then all of a sudden you get sore breast after, before, and while your on your period (sore breast all the time), pregnant?

I have a retroverted uterus, and I was wondering if that could make me go into pre term labor. I have been feeling random tightening in my stomach and had a sharp pain in my stomach yesterday. I called my doctor yesterday about it and I am going to see my doctor tomorrow. I'm getting a little impatient with waiting to see whats going on. In the mean time the nurse told me to not go to work and to be on a short bed rest. If anyone knows if this is related or even if they have any suggestions on what is going on I would love to hear it. I am only 25 weeks I DO NOT want to go into labor it is far too soon.

I had sex today and 2 hrs later when I wiped after urinating I realized there was a slight pink discharge, it is very light pink. Now 3 hours after and I looked at my underwear there is pink on both sides of it. Has this happened to anyone or does anyone know the cause? This is the first time I've had bleeding after sex.

My friend is about 4 and a half months pregnant and she had blood come out when she peed and then it stopped from that point and spotted for a few days. She also had some mucus blood come out the other day. She is already swelling in her hands and feet. Does she need to go to the ER?
