Is is possible for you baby to be alive for the 23 weeks of your pregnancy, then all of the sudden become "a still birth baby'? or is there a certain time that this happens?

Some sources reserve the term "stillbirth" for a fetus which has died after reaching mid-second trimester to full term gestational age.

So basically, anything before 24 weeks is a miscarriage. After 24 weeks is a stillborn.

Sadly, a fetus can die at any time during a pregnancy for any number of reasons.

Depending where you are in the world, a pregnancy that ends with the death of a fetus before birth is either called a miscarriage or a still birth. Every country has a different policy on where they draw the line, so to speak - but generally it's somewhere around the 20 week mark (could be 21, 22, 23 or 24). So for example, a fetus that dies before 20 weeks is a miscarriage, and a fetus that dies after 20 weeks is defined as a "still birth" and birth and death certification is prepared.

If you have any specific questions perhaps you could contact a local clinic in your area who would be able to give you a more definite answer on when their miscarriage tiem ends and still birth begins.

Still birth refers to a fetus that has reached a gestational age where it would have been possible to survive outside the womb. This is usually after 20 weeks gestation. Anything prior to that is considered a miscarriage.
Some states will issue a COBRIS certificate (Certificate of Birth Resulting In Stillbirth) for still births, but not all of them do. Sometimes you get nothing at all...it's not a birth or a death, so there is no documentation. Just a broken heart.

Some resources say it is stillbirth after 20 weeks and others say 24 weeks.

My son was stillborn 3 weeks before his due date.
