Just wondering if a one piece footed outfit is better than an outfit that you would need booties or socks for. Baby is expected early May.

I would go for a all in one suit. The outfits that reqiure booties or socks are still rather cute but in a new born you wont know there size and the socks/booties my fall off as the babys feet are to small. Take one of each and then when the babys here try a pair of socks on the feet and if they fit with out the possibility of coming off unless you take them off then perfect put the outfit that is footless on. If not then id'e go with the one with feet already in them.

Socks and booties fall off pretty easily, so there are benefits to the one-piece. I just picked a favorite outfit. Just don't choose a gown or blanket sleeper as you won't be able to get the car seat buckled properly.

ONe piece tends to be easier to start espescially if it's your 1st and you are not super comfortable dressing a baby. Just keep in mind the more pieces the longer it takes and babies do not tend to participate.
