I am 11 weeks and 4 days pregnant and feel little flutters in the lower part of my belly. Is it possible to feel the baby move already? I don't remember when I felt the baby moved in my previous pregnancies. It's been almost 9 years since I've been pregnant. Any one else felt movements of the baby this early?

Yes I felt movements around this time, I am 4 months pregnant with my second baby. They say that it is normal to feel to movements a month early if it is a subsequent pregnancy. It is nice to have to movements early I think, but they are not very regular at this point. Congratulations.

A girl asked this question earlier today that I answered, so if you don't mind I'm going to cut and paste what I said! :-)

The baby is the size of a rasberry by now and too small to notice. Since you've been pregnant before, I'm sure you've been told about Elastin (spelling?)... a hormone that is produced during pregnancy at high levels to soften your ligaments and make your muscles more maleable and stretchy to accomodate your upcoming growth. People can often feel thier muscles growing, twitching or spasming during this process (like you, in their tummy area, because this is where a big change will occur). Some people notice more flexibility, but it's important to watch your physical activity a little more closely becuase you're more susceptible to pulling and straining...

Congrats and good luck with your pregnancy :-) I hope you're not going through the whole morning sickness thing like I am.

I'm pregnant with my first and I felt her at 9 weeks. My mom said that's about when she felt a couple of her babies too. So I am sure you could be feeling your little one. I'm excited for you!

It is possible. I felt movement in my second month and my doctor said it was easier for thin women to feel early movements. The baby has no arms and legs yet but they do quiver. If the baby is implanted in your anterior uterine wall (the front) then it makes it even easier to feel this quivering.

every woman is different, but i dont' remember feeling any fluttering of any sort until about the 16th week of my pregnancy, before that, any kind of flutter i was feeling was just gas.

im sure its way to small to feel, its common to feel them between 14-20 weeks depending on the women, but im sure the baby is 1.5 inches at that week and way to tiny to feel any movement. it might just be gas. good luck and congrats.

well since it is a second or more baby, it's possible.
