I am 36 and a half weeks. I have always measured way bigger. ( im measuring 41 weeks now ) ive been between 1/2 and 1 cm since last tuesday that we know of. ( first tiem i got checked ) I have been feeling like i am going to have him soon with all the braxton hicks, the back pains, tiredness. I jsut feeel so weak and i dont wanna be pregnant anymore!!! Its taking everything out of me.
Today my doctor told me im still almost 1 cm dialated and cervix is still high. His head is down, but still has room to move so his head isnt engaged yet. My body is telling me Phew your almost done, but my doctor is telling me,hey you have a while to go..
What do you guys think? Anyone ever feel like this.

I feel for you hon! Ive been there done that. Unfortunatly there is nothing you can do, the baby is going to come when he wants to. you still have 4 weeks left, and I know what you mean about measuring bigger, I measured bnigger with my daughter too and she was 2 days late. YOu could try walking to get the baby to move down and your cervix to start softening and opening, but seeing as you are so tierd I dont know that you feel up to it. Im sorry but I dont know what else to tell you, you could talk to your dr about enducing you, but that is a medical decision that he would have to make. My dr wouldnt enduce me untill I was a week over due, but my BP got really high and she ended up having to.
Im sorry this wasnt much help, Good luck and congrats tho.... just try to rest and it will help you from being so tired, oh and eat some fruit to keep you enegized, that may help.

sweetie i am 38 and a half weeks pregnant sunday night i went to the hospital with contractions (not braxton hicks) and i am dialated to 2 cm. i am having all the regular contractions back pains the works but im not dialating anymore my doctor wont give me anything to help it along until this coming monday i have been cleaning scrubbing walking everything to get the dialating started on my own like they had said but still nothing just more pressure and harder contractions, so i know how you feel!!!!

Ya I know how you feel. I had braxton hicks for a hole week on and off befor my daughter put me into full labor. I though that I was going to be pregnant for ever. I tryed to sleep but i couldent even thow everyone told me to. All I could do was walk and walk because my mother told me that it would help drop the baby down. the thing is to walk and sleep. I think everyone feels like this near the end. Don't fret dear, it will come to an end. Even if you're measuring big doesn't mean the baby is ready to come out. At 36 weeks he could still have lung problems, so its best he stay inside. I carried my twins to almost 36 weeks and even with steroids they had apnea and weight issues. Best of luck to you hun!

i'm 30 weeks prego with twins and i'm ready for it to be over with already, so i definetely know how you feel. don't worry, it's almost over. i suggest getting a lot of rest, because you are sure going to need it after you have the little one and trust me, there is no time for it anymore. the baby will come when he is ready. until then, just relax and remind yourself that it's almost over.

well i pray you the best, if this is your 1sty, ooooooo the best yet to come,,,you get to hold it love it, an watch he are she grow,,,,it a feelling i cant tell you, about being a dad are mom,, but my wife, when she was close to her time, would walk, ,to help her self a long,, but the down side,lol is you learn you sleep when it does,, please let us all know if it a boy are girl, an it name, an to the man in your life,, tell him not to hald you hand when it time lol,,, for if he does, that hand never be the same lol,,, i made that wrong one time, an i was in so much pain i was almost intears,lol,,,took me a week to get the feelling back,, best of luck,,

yes i felt like that what i was having my daughter she was a summer baby and it was so hot hot hot i was so uncomfy all the time x
