ok im 23 weeks pregnant and since last night at 9:30ish ive had this horrbile stabbing pain in my left side that ends in my lower left abdomen....my docs office doesnt open for another 15 min then im gonna have to wait for a call back....but anyways anyone ever experience this???? ive had kidney stones many times and still do so i know for a fact its not that totally different pain but im in agnony over here no sleep and i wanna jump off a bridge :( lol

I know it sounds really shallow, but I've had an incredibly tight vaginal passage all of my life. I couldn't even comfortably wear tampons until 18, and it took 2 months after losing my virginity to even enjoy sex without pain. Now that I am almost 30, my husband and I are considering having children. I am mostly terrified of the pain of childbirth (my OBGYN has told me my passage will make birthing difficult,) but also afraid that a child will permanently ruin my vagina as well, and make my husband lose interest in me. Any suggestions, answers, etc... People with stupid or crass remarks need not reply.

i was due on a couple days ago, i dont want to do a pregnancy test yet until im sure that i could be but i dont understand what is spotting about because for the last 2 weeks my breast have been tender and had slight not cramping but light aches in my lower abdomen and a few days ago i had a pinkish discharge when i went to the loo and immediatley thought i was coming on my period but there has been nothing after, ive been reading some answers on here from other people about spotting and has made me wonder if i could actually be....

I had a doctors appointment on Tuesday and had membrains stripped and cervix streched. I really haven't had any changes in me except alot of mucus. I had lost my mucus plug a few days ago. So I don't think this is what this could be. It seems every other time I go to the bathroom I wipe there is globs on the toilet paper. What could this be or mean?

im due tomorrow and i can feel the baby has dropped a little but yesterday through this morning i have had a constant lower back ache. it goes all the way around me to the front. it feels like i have a period from hell without the bleeding... any thoughts?

Ive not much of a bump yet but am nearly 6 months so next couple of weeks i know my bump will be big. I drive most of the time and wondered how do you wear your seatbelt. Is it over the bump etc. Also a friend said when your heavily pregnant you wont have to wear one. is that true.

I am 32 weeks pregnant, according to ultrasound, the doctor confirmed it yesterday.

How come, then, my due date is 30th April? I calculate that on 30th April I'll only be 38 weeks pregnant, not 40...

Can anyone help me out or explain? Or is it a discrepancy on the doctor's part?

Any mums to be know anywhere to buy nice maternity bras? I love nice bras and usually buy from Bravissimo. I recently bought a couple of mothercare maternity bras due to my ever increasing melons and they are hideous, shapeless, matronly boulder carriers!

I want some good supporting but nice fitting, attractive bras with matching knicks if poss.

My last 2 pregnancies have both had to be induced at 9+ days, i do not go into labour naturally.

If i am going to have to be induced anyway, why do they have to force me to wait 9 - 10 days before they do it. If this is causing me stress, then surely this is not good.

I understand that babies will come when they are good and ready but in my case i am just one of those people that don't go naturally. I have been told that my little girl is ready to be born, but yet i still have to wait. Both of my children have had to be induced and i gave birth naturally with both, with no c-section.

I feel like i have just been fobbed off with the excuse that if they induce me now then i run the risk of a c-section, but isn't it true that i will run this risk in the end anyway.

Can someone give me some constructive advice please, without telling me that it'll happen when it happens.

last period 22 jan. ovulated around 9th feb, positive blood test 24th feb. had sonongram and ultrasound last nt. doctor says its way 2 small and should hear heart beat by now. boobs swollen, tummy swollen, no blood whatsover. had blood test today to see hormone levels and to confirm how many weeks i am. doctors doesnt sound to positive. dont think i could go though another miscarriage. put on weight as well.

I'm 20 weeks pregnant and (usually in the evenings) for the last week or so, I have been feeling a tightening around my abdomen, across my belly button region. Sometimes it's quite painful but only lasts a minute or so each time (this has happened up to 4 times in an evening but they're not regular). Could this be what they call Branxton Hicks Contractions? I tried telling my gyno about it but he kind of danced around the question and didn't give me a straight answer. Obviously from his reaction, I've got nothing to worry about but I'd still like to know if anyone out there has experienced anything similar?

had sonogram yesterday and doctor can hear heatbeat and says embryo is very small and has not grown much since last weeks sonogram. had a blood test today to check exactly how many weeks i am and hormone levels. i'm really scared i will miscarry. i miscarried in september but then i had bleeding and no pregnancy symptoms. now i'm bloated, boobs bigger and painfull. i just feel so scared. doctor will give me results tonight. pregnancy positive blood test was on the 24th feb so he reckons he should of heard heart beat by now.

Of course, only a pregnancy test &/or my doctor can tell me for sure. But, based on my symptoms, what do you think?

Tender or Swollen Breasts
Sensitivity to Odors and Foods
Frequent Urination
Nausea
Abdominal bloating

I have the symptoms, but I'm doubtful. For the last 7 years, every time I've taken a pregnancy test, it's always been negative. I haven't taken a test lately though. The doctors say it IS possible for me to have children on my own, despite pcos. I wasn't aware that an early pregnancy symptom is frequent urination. The doctor says I don't have a UTI (didn't check for pregnancy though!) I'm bloated in a way I've never realized before, my breasts are sore, I can't eat certain foods that I would have normally eaten only a few months ago, certain scents effect me much more than usual... Very odd. But surely I'm not pregnant. What is your guess?
