This is a difficult one to word so bear with me.

I have tried to explain the likelihood that she could get pregnant by emptying the used condom out and inserting the s*perm into herself is pretty slim.
I also told her that it would be wrong to do that anyway. Especially since her husband doesn't want any more kids at this time. She thinks that she can get pregnant this way. So, I guess I am asking who do you think is right??

Ever since i became pregnant my skin has been super dry and flaky. I have been able to combat the majority of this with moisturizers & lotions but the top of my head still seems flaky. I already use a shampoo formulated for dry hair but it doesnt seem to be my hair as much as my scalp that is dry (and i cant seem to figure out how to put lotion on the top of my head lol). I have never had dandruff so i don't know if this is it, is it all hormonal? will dandruff shampoos help? has anyone else experienced this? It's not really itchy but it is noticably flaky, especially at my hairline.

(Sorry, i didnt know whether to categorize this as a pregnancy question but i was hoping other moms have been through something similar)

I am pregnant with my first child around 6-7 weeks. I have not had my first ob/gyn appt yet. I go April 25. They will not see me until I am 10-12 weeks. I have a few questions until then that I was hoping some of you may be able to answer. (1) I have gained 5 pounds since I found out I am pregnant, is this normal? I found out Feb 28. (2) Is it normal to have a few small cramps, nothing big, in my lower abdomen? They do not bother me that much and I hardly notice them at times. (3) I am already unable to button some of my dress pants and blue jeans. Does anyone else experience this early on? I am really not sure what to expect early on, since this is the first time I have been pregnant. Any other things that I may experience please let me know. Thanks for all your answers :)

I'm not on bc pills, my bf and I only use condoms (spermicidally lubed) and yesterday after we were done he found out that the condom might have leaked from the side. I'm at the point in my cycle where I'm into my fertile days, or just at the end of them and I scared stiff. How soon before a home pregancy test? Anyone else ever been in my situation?

I usually have bleach blond hair, Im getting married in 3 weeks and my roots are horribly showing I am also a few weeks pregnant. Can i color it for my wedding, I heard that foils arent as bad as dying? Or should I forget the whole thing?

I was diagnosed with a high-risk pregnancy at 16 weeks, after I almost miscarried, but they managed to stop the labour at the hospital and my baby held in there. I've been on bed rest until 28 weeks, and then "relative rest" until now.

I'm soooo scared something will go wrong still and I'll lose my baby though. I can't sleep at night I'm so terrified!

I had an u/s 2 days ago, and they told me baby is growing well and she's fine, but I still need to be careful as there is some risk of hemmorrage.

Would a hemmorage mean my baby would die? What are the signs of a hemmorage? It may all sound silly, but after she managed to hold on at 16 weeks, it would completely devastate me to lose her now.

I have had slight pains (more discomfort than pain) which the doctor told me are entirely normal, varying between Braxton Hicks and stretching etc...

I still can't help beng scared! Can anyone give me any info on hemmorages? Anyone else been in a simiar situation / felt the same?

My doctor told me I am on the low end of my progesterone level... He said the range is 11 to 45... he said I was at 11... Has anyone out there had this same problem? If so, anything I can do in addition to the drug he put me on?

I never signed up for childbirthing classes and I'm 6 months. I really don't feel like it, cause it costs money and I'm familiar with the labor process. Is it necessary? Have you or have you not done it?

Okay....here is the thing, I am 32 weeks pregnant, everything seems to be going pretty good thus far. However I have had this brown discharge in my panties when I go the bathroom, it isn't a lot(at all!)-just a enough to notice it...and it isn't everytime I go to the bathroom, just sometimes, and when I wipe there is never anything...I am just wondering what this could be, its been like this off and on for well over a week now...does this have anything to do with my mucus plug? Being that I am a 1st time mom I have no CLUE what to expect! Someone please give me some advice or input-thanx

My blood pressure is fine 110/80. But I have been having alot of swelling in my feet and ankles, even my fingers have swollen up. Last night I coughed really hard and strated seeing spots of light, they looked like little fire flies. Has enyone else had these symptoms?? I read that swelling and seeing spots can be caused by preeclampsia. Should I be worried, even though right now my blood pressure is fine??
BTW, I am almost 30 weeks pregnant

Hi. I wont be taking lamaze classes because they are just SO expensive. $400! That money can be used toward my daughter when she's here. Anyway, my dr suggested that I buy a video but, when I went to the book store, I saw a picture of a women in labor and it really and truly scarred me! I cant get that image out of my head. So I dont want to watch a video of labor either. Are there any books that I can read to help me prepare for what is going to occur soon? I'm 32 weeks presently. I just need some tips on how to get through the pain and focus and not be scared to death. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

This is weird but I've heard this from two different people recently. Is it true that babies born in the 8th month have a high risk of being stillborn? Furthermore, I heard that babies born in 7th month have a higher survival rate than those in the 8th.
Sounds weird to me.

ok i was 2 weeks late for my pd. and yesterday it came but it was only a couple drops here and there and this morning i checked and it was all dried up like it was done and then i checked alil ago and its just a few drops. .but im having the cramps.. . im worried if i could still be pregnant or if this could be a cyst or what im unsure i took 3 test through out the week --neg.-- if it just continues this way im callin and making an appt. just wondering what you guys think it could be

I'm at 23 weeks with my first baby. I was watching the movie, "Hildago", that stars, my favorite, Viggo Mortensen. There is one scene when he start singing quite loudly a Native American song. My baby moved around so much during that song, it was the most movement I felt at once, it was as if he was dancing to the music. I started crying (goofy preggo woman, I am) sitting there on the couch, I felt so connected to my baby. Anyone else have an experience like this to share?

Lately i have been waking up not feeling good at all. I know my body and i do not experience stomach pain on a regular basis. Im much more tired than usual, i don't have a appetite, and when i do eat i can't finish the whole thing because i just can't do it. I have never been pregnant before, i have no clue what pregnancy feels like. I don't have sore breast, my period isn't due until 11-13 days from today. Last month on Valentines day i was supposedly ovulating on Feb.14 and had sex twice. About 2 weeks ago i threw up 3 times with stomach pain, and i was drained physically. I can't describe it. What is wrong with me?

I went to the doctors today and he told me that he thinks I might be developing preeclampsia. I have had horrible cramping with no cervical change, my blood pressure was high today, high proteins in my urine for the past month or so and I gained 3 pounds this week. My legs are huge and bright red. He wants me to go back tomorrow for another sugar test and then back again on Tuesday for another checkup. Has anyone else had this happen and what was the outcome? I am 38 weeks and not worried if I have to be induced, but I am worried about the health of my baby. Did you have to be induced or just monitored?

I'm just 5 weeks pregnant, and this morning I was bleeding. more than spotting, bleeding like i was on my period, only i didn't bleed that much because it stopped very quickly. There was just some blood when i woke up this morning. The blood was thick and dark, it looked different to normal. I dont think it's enough to have lost the baby, but i'm not sure. what do you think?
