I'm just 5 weeks pregnant, and this morning I was bleeding. more than spotting, bleeding like i was on my period, only i didn't bleed that much because it stopped very quickly. There was just some blood when i woke up this morning. The blood was thick and dark, it looked different to normal. I dont think it's enough to have lost the baby, but i'm not sure. what do you think?

Make an appointment this morning to see what is going on. You just never know this early in pregnancy - so be careful and call the doc. They'll have you come in so they can draw some blood to look at your levels.

Go to see your doctor and let them know, but at 7 weeks with my 3rd baby, I also bled a little bit like you described and everything was just fine.

You must call/visit your doctor immediately! When this happened to me I went right away and they monitored the baby's heartbeat just to make sure everything was alright. She was born very healthy! Hope all is well.

Call the trauma nurse at your OB clinic and give her informaiton.

They will probably tell you that if it's not bright red and accompanied by cramps that you are fine. They might want you to come in for an ultrasound...but they may not , unless it happens again.

Sometimes that is normal - but you should always call you doctor with anything like that. They will probably want to see you to make sure everything is okay.

See your doctor. If you were intimate with your husband the night before, that's probably what it is. But if you have any more go as soon as you can.
