Relax sweetie. You would only be about, what, 5 weeks now? You cant really 'hear' the heart beat at this time. You should however be able to see the heart beat during a vaginal ultrasound. You dont start doing on the tummy ultrasounds until you are about 9 weeks and you cant hear the heartbeat with the doppler until about 12 - 15 weeks)

From week 4 to 5 you wont see much of a differance. I know from weeks 4 - 6 for me it went from lima bean to a bloated lima bean.

I have had a long history of miscarriages. I am on my 6th pregnancy so my OB has me in the high risk catagory. She did place me on progesterone. It is a hormone helper. The placenta starts to make progesterone around week 13 but from week 1 - 12 it is kind of pulling from you. the suppositories (vaginal) kind of help the baby along the way... There are no real proven studies that show it drastically works but it does not hurt the baby or you and it cant do anything but help.

dont worry about hearing the heart beat. As long as he can see it beating every thing is good in that area. the soonest i have heard of anyone being able to hear it was week 11
