It's a minimum of 4 weeks, or whenever you stop bleeding. If you tore or had an episiotomy, you may want more time or it will be uncomfortable.
Also, if you're looking to get pregnant again the minimum you should wait is three months to get pregnant. But if you are nursing you might not even ovulate until your baby starts solids, or later.

You shouldn't look to conceive again for six months after having the baby as it can cause too much stress on your body. I would say having babies with an 18-mnth age difference is nice; my sisters and I all have 18-months between each of us.

i guess, its ideal to have a gap of 2 yrs for conceiving ur 2nd baby. That would be safe for u and the baby as well.

you should leave about 2 yrs in between children. that way it your 1st is out of diapers and can "help" take care of the new baby
as for sex relationships. you can safely practice safe sex and use birth control once your ob/gyn has "cleared" you medically

that's really up to you.
my aunt had 3 kids whithin a year! early in the year she had her first daughter and then towards the end of the year she had twin girls!
my kids are 3 years apart!
