No...all fetuses are small at 7 weeks. it is hard to detect the heartbeat depending on the size of the woman carrying the pregnancy ...you may not detect it till 8-10 weeks or more. if there were really NO heartbeat ...you would have already miscarried.

You don't ususally hear the heartbeat til you are about 3 months anyway. I didn't hear my 2nd son til I was almost 4 months. My last son who is 11 months was considered small and the doc was worried, He came out just fine. If you are really worried and want to make sure-reqeust an amnio. There is alwasy a risk of miscarriage within the first 3 months.

no. its always scary when you find out so early cuz the baby is still forming. be careful and youll have better news at your next appointment.
