I am 7 1/2 months prego and the father of my child has acted completely irrational towards me since day one. We had been dating about 8 months prior and always talked about having children together. We had not been using any preventative method of birth control and had agreed if it happened it happened. His father died in August and I found out I was pregnant in September. He has totally distant him self from me and matters concerning our child(dr. appts etc....).He now is acting like an 18 yr old boy in a 33 yr old man's body. He doing what he wants and how he wants to and I very rarely see him but once a month and occasionally talk to him 2x a month. He never wants to see me or talk with me or my family about this baby. Has anyone ever gone through this and how did it turn out. I have already decided to not give my daughter his name or have him in the labor room with me. I have gone through so many nights of tears and heartache.

Last Tues I was 4 weeks pregnant and started bleeding - not that heavy (mainly when wiped with toilet paper) and brownish in color. The bleeding was on and off for 1-2 days. I didn't get any cramps but noticed the tiniest looking what i can only descibe as a little thread on the 2nd day. I went to A&E and I have been booked in for a scan next Sat - they can't scan me any sooner as they may not be able to detect a heartbeat, if there is one. I have a whole 6 more days to wait and am going out of my mind with worry, even though the bleeding has stopped. Has anyone had this before? Please help

I have been having this aching pain in my upper abdominal area and sides for three days now. It has been coming and going but lasts in long periods. Like hour or more then will kinda just stop. Sometimes i feel nausias, and it gets to the point where i can't breathe as good. I got up and took a shower, but it still was very uncomfortable and dint stop. Last night while out on the town i felt ths way, and this morning. Now this morning i had gas and went to the bathroom twice. So my question is, is it contractions, could it be the baby just hurting me because of no room or could it just be gas? This is my first pregnancy and i am 3 days shy of 38 weeks. Im just scared and worried because i dont know what to do or what to expect. I hope someone can help...

I am 8 weeks pregnant. Confirmed by doctor and ultrasound.

But, the ONLY symptom I have, is that I'm tired all of the time.
I don't have sore breasts, or nauseousness, or morning sickness, or heartburn.

This is my second pregnancy.

Anyone else not have alot of symptoms?

The last couple of weeks I've noticed (especially at night when I change the side I'm laying on) that the bone right above my crotch hurts. I'm not sure if it's my pubic bone or the front of my pelvis, but it is uncomfortable and feels sore. I'm almost 8 months pregnant. Why is this? Anybody know?

I've been hit by BP during my 29 weeks of pregnancy, affecting my right face. It's been 6 weeks now and recovery is minimal. My Neurologist said that it could be due to my current pregnancy and that recovery may speed up after delivery. I am currently experiencing pain/discomfort in my left ear. Anyone knows if BP will affect both part of the face? Anyone who got BP before, can you share with me the signs to look out for, for recovery.

I am 12 weeks and one day pregnant. I have been having spotting brown and cramping off and on pretty much my whole pregnancy. I also have a blood clot in my uterus (not sure if that has anything to do with this). Now my spotting has turned red and my cramps are getting worse. They're even in my lower back. I called the midwife that was on call because it is the weekend and she just told me to call back if I was bleeding enough to fill a pad. But during a visit my doctor told me to call if my spotting turned red, so I did and that's all they said. Is this normal? The midwife on call that I talked to just acted like I was wasting her time when I was only doing what I was instructed to do. I don't know what to do! Any advice?

I have two sons. Both with c-section. My first son was a big baby and my doctor said that it was not possible for me to give birth vaginally. So I had a planned c-section. Everything was ok and I had no depression or so after the birth. I had my second son on Dec 5, 2006 again by c-section. The baby was not in proper position and since the first was c-section the second birth automatically planned as c-section. This time I feel to bad that I did not have and since we have planned two children I will not have any vaginal birth experience. I know this is nonsese because I have lost this chance 5,5 years ago in my first birth but it hit me now. My baby is 3,5 months old now and I still feel sorry and do not now how to cope with these feelings? Anyone who have been through the same, please advice!!!!

I am 37w 3d along with my 2nd kid, 1-2cm dialated & 50% effaced (according to the triage nurse last night -We had someone nearly side swipe us last night - i was driving - which set me into some bad contractions but I wasn't dialating anymore so they sent me home).

I have anxiety and bipolar disorders, which has been causing me a lot of stress and anxiety with these last weeks, being so big & she not having room anymore along with situational stress issues are becoming too much for me... so we (me, my mom & hubby) have been trying to talk to my OB about induction (I was induced at 38w 6d with my 1st kid for the same reasons), even the nurses at the triage think that its a good idea, the only one not listening is my OB...

So my question is...

Is there any suggestion that anyone has other than having sex (becuase it hurts me too much) to help this process of going into labor??
