Well within my rights to not reveal I am pregnant & due to some complications, I was advised that I had a justifiable reason not to. Legally, you do not have to reveal to work that you are until 3 mths before your due date. Desperate for a job, thrilled at the prospects of the one I finally got, I got around my feelings of guilt (I felt dishonest) by reading great articles such as the one in this link: http://www.medzilla.com/press100303.html. I finally told my manager yesterday. She was initially thrilled until she heard that I was 5 months along. Having met me at language school & later recommending me for a job (she receives a large finders fee), she confirmed that had I said I was pregnant during the interview, I would not have been hired (highly illegal) & being the person who recommended me for the job, had she known prior, she would never have recommended me. If I had told them, I would be not be working now. I know I was within my rights but why do I feel so awful?

i have this and as a child suffered urine infections and constipation then as i go older a bit of back ache, but since having my daughter it seems to have cleared my problems up! my daughter now 3 has severe constipation a few urine infections and is always complaining that her knees are hurting, i have been back and forth to the doctors and they fob me off with lactlose and tell me to keep pushing fruit and veg ect witch is very hard as she hates fruit and veg i am still trying tho! does anyone know anything about this and does anyone one else have the same i think she may have this too but am i just worrying over nothing?

I work 40 hours a week and go to school 16 hours a week and i make enough money for myself but i have to support my girlfriend because she is pregnant with our first child and its due in july, how can we get extra income? any money from our government? what can we do?

Did u or are u planning on circumsizing your son? My son who is 1 1/2 is not circumsized and im pregnant with another boy and my hubby wants to circumsize him. i dont know what i should do..what is your belief? thanks

She is 29 weeks or something like that and is feeling a little down. She wont stop crying. I ask her what is wrong she sais she is fat. I keep telling her she is not fat and that she is beautiful. All of the weight she has gained it mostly the baby. She is not happy with her clothes. She hates the maternity clothing because nothing fits her right (so she says). I have even taken her shopping to help her find things she may like but the trips just end in tears.

I try to take her out to eat or places i know she likes but she does not want to go saying she looks a "hot azz mess" when she doesnt.

I know its just her hormones but it hurts me to see her upset and sad like this. She is happy to be having our first daughter but she is hating the process. I was able to give her a candle lit bath this evening while feeding her fruit. For the first time in weeks i was able to see her smile.

Is there anything else that i can possibly do?

i am 38 weeks, and all day my whole back has been hurting really bad, my stomach is sore. not like contraction sore. but like the baby is beating the crap out of my insides. also i am very very sleepy. does it seem to anyone else that i am may be comming down with a cold/flu?? or has anyone just felt like this the last week or so.

my second question is, if i am comming down with something will that effect my labor.

IM IN PAIN
From 10:30 Last night to 1pm today i had contractions that was 20minutes apart, then at around 2pm they where 10minutes apart, and then I took a shower and I was hit with them at 8minutes apart(at around 6pm) , and They were AWFUL!!! Then at around 9pm(tonight) they just stopped and ive had around 4 from then till now, so i dont know whats up unless im just dialating, ne one have insight for me???

After my first internal exam during my 37th week, I experienced light bleeding and pain. I know the bleeding was to be expected, but not so sure about the pain. I thought I read that it was common, but cannot find where I read that.

I am about 3 months into my pregnancy. I back-tracked to the estimated time the baby was conceived and it turns out that it's around the time a close friend came to visit from Cali and my friend was my New Years kiss and more. I had sex with my boyfriend when he returned from his trip to visit family so, it IS possible that this baby may not be his. I love my boyfriend dearly (please save the lectures, alcohol was involved with my friend and save the lectures in that area too) I know what I did was wrong. I deeply regret it and it hurts to think that it may not be his. Any advice on how and/or what to tell him would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Can someone answer this question? ok I had a period last month(Feb 16), but i was spotting the whole first day it was a brownish color and it had a strange smell to it, the second day it was heavy and the smell faded, then the next it was lighter than my regular days. then the third through the sixth day it was real light, like i was spotting off, a real light red color. and today(March 16) i am only about 3 days late and i'm getting worried. Usually around this time i be feeling bloated and have really bad cramps. i was feeling bloated and gassy, and had cramps this past week. Usually they come same day as my period. i need some advice.

OK I have tried over and over to cut back on my smoking but it is almost impossible for me because I smoke so much...Is there anyway that I can use a low dose of a nicotene patch? I read earlier that some midwives suggest that quitting smoking while pregnant while add stress to the baby as well as me, and I was wondering if a patch would be ok. I read a post similar to mine, where people were talking about, "why are you pregnant and smoking" "quit cold turkey" But for some ppl is isnt that easy, it is easier said than done, especially when you smoke and you know how it feels to not have a ciggarette when you want one. I would really appreciate answers where ppl arent trying to look better and bigger or who arent trying to put me down. Thank you
