She is 29 weeks or something like that and is feeling a little down. She wont stop crying. I ask her what is wrong she sais she is fat. I keep telling her she is not fat and that she is beautiful. All of the weight she has gained it mostly the baby. She is not happy with her clothes. She hates the maternity clothing because nothing fits her right (so she says). I have even taken her shopping to help her find things she may like but the trips just end in tears.

I try to take her out to eat or places i know she likes but she does not want to go saying she looks a "hot azz mess" when she doesnt.

I know its just her hormones but it hurts me to see her upset and sad like this. She is happy to be having our first daughter but she is hating the process. I was able to give her a candle lit bath this evening while feeding her fruit. For the first time in weeks i was able to see her smile.

Is there anything else that i can possibly do?

Poor woman is going through it something rough isnt she? The best you can do is keep doing what you have been. be supportive... (take me shopping. lol). and the bath and feeding was a nice touch (come talk to this man around here!) She has a few more months to go so its only going to get a little more stressful for her.

But you doing what you are doing is making her feel a little better even though she may not show it or know it. She will look back on these times and see that you stuck with her and by her side when she felt her 'worst' and she will realize it was all for a good cause when she looks down at your daughter for the first time. (dont tell her its all for a good cause... you may come back with some limbs missing)

I know things that also help me are foot massages or you can give her a pedicure (or pay to have one done...) I love it when a man rubs my feet after a long hard day.

if she has a fav food or ice cream, keep it in stock. if she likes to go certain places ask her "do you want to go to _____ today?" or things like that.

She could also just need a weekend get away. Even if it is to a local hotel for the weekend or a bed and bath.

Just continue to be supportive. She is suffering more then you are right now. lol Good luck and congrats on your soon to be baby girl
