Well, sounds like you are just having "practice" contractions, but if you're due soon, this could be a definite sign that the real ones will start soon. Just do what you've been doing--keeping track of how far apart they are. Next time they get below 10 minutes apart, you really need to call the doctor or just go to the hospital. They may want to monitor you themselves, especially if they are so painful. Good luck!

Our bodies will often give us these moments before hard labor hits! You will need your strength and energy to tackle what lies ahead! It is a good idea once you get a contraction rhythm going to stimulate you nipples (rubbing clockwise and then counterclockwise around the areola.) This causes your body to produce small amounts of pitocin. The chemical used to cause contractions and eventually labor! Good luck and stay as relaxed as you can. If you get too tense labor can and will stop. Get in the tub, Or lay down on a lot of blankets and pillows and just try to relax away any and all tension. (While stimulating your nipples;)
If you are not trying to go into labor yet drink plenty of water often contractions can be caused by dehydration
Good luck and Blessings,

Was probably false labor...True labor progresses until the baby is born and doesnt go away with rest or anything else u may try to do. False labor will feel like the real thing but will subside *thats how u know its not real contractions* Go into the hospital when your contractions reach 4-5 minutes apart *u will know when its the real thing*Good Luck!

Make sure your baby is still moving by doing a kick count. You may be experiencing false labor and that is normal. I would recommend getting professional help if you haven't already. You're close to if not already having the baby.

How far along are you? They could be Braxton Hicks or they could be the real thing. Try drinking some water and laying down. If they stop then its not likely real labor. If it keeps on then call your OB.

If you haven't gone to the hospital, I would go to get checked out. You want to make sure there is still enough fluid in the sac for your baby...or maybe they'll rupture it and that baby will slide out! Good Luck!

well i would say they are braxton hicks..or could be real labor but probably nothing that is going to do anything..but since you haved preterm labor you might wanna go in and get checked to be on the safe side.

Sounds like lobour to me.

With my first daughter I had contractions from 9am tuesday to 7am wednesday when my waters broke. Had her at 12:30pm wednesday by emergancy c-section. Turns out she was breech

If you are concerned call or go into the hospital & talk to someone

If it stopped, it wasn't the real thing. Real thing wont stop. Sounds like you are at risk for going into labour though. I say take it easy.
