Nutrigrain bars are great if you're in the mood for something a little sweet, plus they have lots of vitamins. String cheese is great for protein, plus the added calcium (Borden's Kid Builder has 40% in just one stick!). Also, drinking carnation instant breakfast (you can buy it in premixed drink boxes for on-the-go) or Ensure are both great for an afternoon pick-me-up and are loaded w/ vitamins--my doctor says they are great for pregnant women. Hope this helps! :)

When I was pregnant, I carried around a small bag of trail mix for emergency munching. I like the Ocean Spray Craisins kind, with dried cranberries, other dried fruits, and nuts.
Oatmeal raisin cookies (homemade, of course) would also be a good source of fiber and a much-needed sugar fix.
Sliced cucumbers and tomatoes are great. They have a mild taste by themselves, in case you're suffering from nausea. If you can stand stronger flavors, season them with a little balsamic vinegar.
Beef jerky is a good protein shot. Be careful, though, because it's high in salt.
Drinking all that water got real old real fast, so I changed it up a little by adding some lemon or lime juice periodically.

the snacks would be the same for the non-pregnant person: nuts, seeds, lean meats, vegies, fruits, yogurt, protein drinks and lots of water.

I would think the usual like carrot sticks, celery sticks, maybe even things you'd slice up or find sliced up in your grocery store like pieces of fruit or vegetables you'd find on one of those party trays.
