Ok my question is who is most likely to deliver your baby, your doctor or someone on call at the hospital? If you are in labor in the middle of the night do they really call your doctor or just use someone on call? I have read my info from my doctor, but I was still a little confused. When I asked my doctor she said she may or may not depending on the situation at the time. So yeah whatever that means.

i went to my appt. last week and they checked the heartbeat of the baby and they said it was irregular (skipping a beat) but other than that the heartbeat was the right speed. my nurse said they have to listen to the heartbeat on some kind of machine and that it is probably nothing to worry about. has anyone ever been through this? i just cant get this out of my mind...

Two years ago I had a 3rd dergee near 4th dergee episotomy with my son 7lbs 10ozs. I also tore a little. I was not given an option. I am 29 weeks and I am begining to freak at the idea of another episotomy. I know it depends on my body and the babies size and so on, we are having another boy so I would expect him to be around the same size.

I was wondering if scar tissue from the last episotomy would hinder stretching? I am going back to the Dr. in 2 weeks and intend to discuss this with her also. But was interested in others expierences.

And spare me of telling me not to be worried because the pain from my son was nearly "UNBEARABLE" for WEEKS afterwards!!

What do you think about abortion? How has this affected you? Why do you think abortion is necessary? Why is it important that the government doesn't make a law to cease abortion?

Thanks.

I know this might sound weird to ask this but im 20 years old and well for the last little while my breasts have been extremely sensitive, tender and sore and well yesturday when I went to the bathroom i noticed a very tiny bit of blood on the tissue and no more blood came after that it was just that little tiny bit and then nothing. My period isnt due until sunday but im wondering does this sound like it could be pregnancy? It's really freaking me out and I dont know who to ask. Am I just over re acting for no reason? Should I even be worried about it because im not even late yet? My boobs have also never been this sore and tender in my life and my nipples are always errect now and they have become a darker colour.

I'm 20 weeks pregnant...I have been trying to eat healthy up until this point. I was wondering, is "probiotic" yogurt safe? It has "live" bacteria in it that is supposed to eat away at all the negative bacteria....does this harm the baby? Does she ingest it? The yogurt I have purchsed has this in it...and I am scared to eat it. Please let me know if anyone has ever wondered or knows about this! Thanks!

We are not telling anyone about this pregnancy for a little while and I just love the yahoo message board because I can talk about the pregnancy with others!
So I remember my friends that have had babys talk about how they were always hunger but when they ate they would get full off of like two bites. Well I'm 13 weeks pregnant and I havn't really felt pregnant except a few times i felt nausus in the very begining but today i was so hunger and we went to dinner and I had about 5 bites of food and so full of felt i was going to throw up i had to just lay down when i 1st got home... Could this be my 1st real feeling of being pregnant... I know sounds funny i'm excited that im feeling sick but I'm going to enjoy EVERY little thing about this :-)

Im still in college (I hate it), I dont have a bf, Ive never had sex or anything but I really want a baby.

I know how irresponsible it is to just get knocked up and how hard that would be.
I really want a husband & father for my baby and everything.
But I cant help but want a baby.
Maybe Im bored and I feel like I need to be loved? I read about ppl feeling that way a while ago. Idk.

I wanted to know the possibility of me being pregnant? I had sex today...it was my first time. I should be starting my period today or tomorrow so I dont think today was my ovulation day. He used two condoms and he only went in and out about 5 times. It didnt even last 2 min because i got scared and it wasnt the most pleasent thing. If anyone could please tell me the possibilities of being pregnant under my circumstances I would appreciate it very much.
Thank You

I did take folic acid tablets my first trimester but now I am getting tired and think my body needs a boost...does anyone know of a gentle prenatal? I have even tried taking 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 at night with the same results.....I am eating very well and my dr says my tests look great and the baby is healthy but still feel I need a bit more of certain things.

I am being monitored twice a week for pre-eclampsia they took blood but everything came back fine.. my blood pressure was up to 142/98 when its usually around 117/80 or something like that.. but anyway how long do they generally wait before they choose to induce you? if my BP is high; but my blood work comes back okay.. do they still induce you? i'm 36 wks pregnant what do you think the chances of them doing it next wk are... baby is already between 6 1/2 - 7 pounds...

I've been on the pill for about three and a half years now, first Alesse, now Tricyclen Lo. I'm usually pretty good with taking them properly, sometimes taking them a few hours late, but rarely missing them. My last period came about half a day later than it usually does (sometimes it's a day early, but it's been awhile since it was later than three days after i stop taking the pills) but then when it came, I experience my period like normal, nothing unusual. Now it's been about six days since my period ended - almost a week into my next pack of pills, and I've noticed that I've been urinating way more frequently, or at least feeling like I have to go, and when I do it hurts. The first day I experienced this, there was some blood in my urine. The last time I had sex before my period came was about four days before. I haven't experienced any other signs of pregnancy. I know it's possibly, but is it likely that I am pregnant?

I breastfed for 19 long months. I was eighteen when I got pregnant, 19 when I had my daughter. I was a nice B cup before now I am a A. For a couple weeks after birth was a D then a C. I was wondering whether the next time around I might keep some of it or have the fat redeposited after breast feeding(I heard the fat is usually redeposited within 6mo after I think) If I breastfed for shorter time period would it have made a difference?-I would prefer facts not experiences unless very similar. My birth was 5 years ago just wondering-Thank you.

Okay, I am 15 weeks pregnant and can only fit into one pair of my old pants. I don't fully feel comfortable in sweats, and those maternity jeans are just OMG-ewe. I am excited to be expecting, just a little self-consious. Almost not feeling comfortable in my own skin. So I'd like to find clothes that don't enhance the bulge just yet. I need more time to deal with being uncomfortable. Please help.
