It can take a little while for them to fade and when they do they will still be shiny looking. Find some firming cremes this will help you. Good luck.

Cocoa butter is supposed to be the best. And be gentle with your skin while washing. You know, no hard tugging until your muscles are tightened back up. Avoid the sun. And taking a daily vitamin will hurry things along. Sometimes stretchmarks never truly fade away. But there are so many types of body make up and skin regimes and surgery that you shouldn't worry.

Try massaging some coconut butter balm from the Body Shop onto your stretch marks and they should fade a lot faster. You can also try Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion.

My daughter is 10.5 months old now and I can still see my stretch marks but my husband says they are not at all as bad as they were! I don't use lotion or anything - but I probably should! But I wouldn't worry even if you have them forever- look at it this way - everytime you see them smile and remember the experience of having your baby! Nothing in this world compares to that feeling - in my opinion.

After a couple of months, mine started fading. It could have happened a little sooner, but I was too busy to pay attention. As for going away, that will happen when you're six feet under.

Stretch marks are badges of honor..
You are a mother, and that is special.
And no-one cares about the marks except you.
So it is how You look at them, that has to change.

Try rubbing a lotion specially made for stretch marks.

Its a really rich, and creamy lotion that you smear right onto your belly during pregnancy.
Maybe you can get your husband to rub it on for a little alone time with him ;]
