A lot of people will say wait until marriage which is the best thing but in this day and age that is rare. I at least waited until I was almost 19. In my humble opinion. The best thing is to wait until you are in a monogamous relationship. You shouldn't even consider having sex if you are not ready for the emotions that come with it. Also even if you use all the protection in the world there is still a chance you could get pregnant or catch an std. Unless you are ready to become a parent I wouldn't risk it.

The right age to start having sex is when you are ready to become a parent. No form of birth control is 100% effective except abstinence. You cant imagine how much work and responsibility a baby is. Too many young people today are becoming parents at an early age when they are still children themselves. I was 23 when I had my first child sometimes i think even that was too young. Keep your pants on until your ready to accept the most awesome responsibility in life.

When you are in a relationship built on trust, love, communication, understanding and responsibility. I would make sure that your partner as well as yourself are mature enough to handle every detail of sex. The mental, physical and emotional aspects. Talk to your partner and see if you and they are truly ready to commit to such a drastic step in your relationship. If everything seems like a go then the time is right.

Well... it is alot to do with when you're ready.
I would say, make sure you're at least mature (body wise).
Since every one matures at different ages, you might reach where you gonna be at 12 or 18. But at least that way you know your ready phsycally.
I would say... anything under 14 is too young in my opinion. Many would say older, but as long as you know what you're doing and how to protect yourself, then it's all good.

I would say at least 18 yrs of age. At that point you are legal and able to take care of yourself on your own if something should occur like pregnancy. If possible wait till you are sure you can handle it emotionally and physically. Always protect yourself. Good luck.

I dont think you're ready if you ask people on yahoo. Its up to you and only you. When you're body and mind is ready then you are. Dont rush into sex its not all that big of a thing like everyone is talking about. It hurts people it gets people in trouble and if you think about it, it can also kill you ( getting aids) Goodluck!

When you're mature and responsible enough to deal with the possibility of a child entering the world. And most people aren't ready for that until into their twenties. Once you're able to know and accept the consequences of your actions, you're ready.

Honestly it differs from person to person. It IS when it feels right to you but to put it simpler. Most people have sex from 14-whatever age. I know that probably don't help but good luck. (And don't forget protection)

I think the time is right when you are responsible and know that if something happens you can deal with the problems that may arise (STD's, Babies, etc.)
Don't just jump into bed because it is peer pressure be proud of saving yourself for the right person who will treat you right.
