i did a preg test today but the oval part witch shows the test worked had a half blue line in it but the other part has a smuge of light blue in it am i pregnant or not?

go buy one at the dollar store..seriously there very sensitive to detect the hormone that tells you whether your pregnant or not and are only one dollar.good luck

its hard to tell with those kinds of tests. i would test again just to be sure. if there were two lines, chances are you are pregnant, but test again with a test with a clear plus or minus reading. sorry i cant really help you being that i dont know what the test looks like, but its worth the extra money to be sure instead of guessing. good luck hun.

depends where you are but you can get 2 for a quid in pound zone or 89 p from home bargains there very good you wee in a beaker stick the strip in within seconds 2 lines appear one dark one faint voilà pregnant,

I would definately do another test, get one of those digital ones as you dont have to try and decide if there is a line or not, they are really straight forward!

You will have to redo it, the second line that is always supposed to be there is to show whether the test worked probably, if that line doesn't show perfectly then it has not worked.

i prefer them digital tests..no need to worry about faint + or negative results..its written down for you.
however if u dont want one of those,try retesting in a few days..maybe the test was faulty or you are in the early stages..either way, do another test or ask you dr to do one for you..

It seems as though that test is "invalid". That happened to me too.
Get another test, I think First Response will give you the earliest clearest result but that is just me.

Sounds like there was something up with that test - I'd go get another one and test again.

This occurred to me 2 & a nil.5 yrs in the past. My era grow to be late & I have been given 2+ exams yet when I went to the wellbeing care expert 2 days later theirs grow to be - & blood exams grow to be extreme sufficient to be pg yet no longer very extreme...i ended up having a m/c the subsequent day:( It grow to be referred to as a Chemical being pregnant. i could attempt back at abode & then get yet another blood attempt a minimum of three days previous the final one. do no longer enable them to bully you...i do no longer understand how receptionist could be so insensitive...i've got dealt with it too. stable luck!
