Pregnancy - March 2007

Hi I am 31 weeks pregnant, and just recently, off and on, have been having unbearable back pain. Its on one side, the right side, of my back. I cant sit, lay, walk, or anything for relief. I called my doctor, and I was told the baby is just laying on some nerve. Has anyone had this? And it hurts that bad? But it comes and goes, so does she just move on it every now and then? Because its not constant just a few hours every couple days. And what can I do to move her off of it?

i started my period today and i am wounderin if it would b the best time to take the pregnacy test today? its been sence i think march 5 r it was febuary 26 it was on of those mondays i had sex and do u think it would give me the right answer for the test?

I had my last period 2/29. My period took a little longer than usual to stop which I found a little weird. On Sunday, 3/11, I had sex, but we used a condom the whole time. The condom didn't break, and it had spermside on it. But, I know condoms are still not 100% effective. I started spotting Friday, 3/16, and that lasted for two days. I had more of brownish discharge and then a gush of red blood then the brownish discharge. I know the earliest I could have ovulated was Monday, 3/12, because I never ovulate early. If anything I'm usually longer. I'm not due to start my period until Monday, 3/26. I also can feel my left side. Its not really a pain, but I'm fairly sure I started having the left side feeling around friday before I had sex because I remember thinking it was too early for me to be ovulating. But, is this pretty much early signs of pregnancy? I know you can bleed when you ovulate, but I don't see why I'd still feel my left side. Is it too early to take a pregnancy test?

Ok so I had sex with my boyfriend, but I do not take my pills regularly. Most of the time i do I am just am careless I guess. Ok so I am only 3 days late for my period but i had spotting about a couple weeks ago and a lil last week and I am cramping like i should get my period but nothing. I am getting headaches and my breats are sore. I get headaches which sometimes leads into dizzyness. Now it doesn't last that long but it continues through out the day. Now I feel nauseus sometimes and I am unbelieveably tired. Now could i be pregnant????

Where I go to school there are so many pergnant girls around it's crazy. They act like it's okay too!! What is happening to today's generation? They are having kids like you eat and drink. what signals is that sending to the future generations/

Im 37 weeks pregnant, and yesturday at the doctors she told me I am 3cm dialated. Ive been having contractions sense yesturday afternoon, and for the past 4 hours ive been having contractions every 45 mins apart lasting around 60 seconds, and now there starting to get closer together and a little stronger. My mom made me goto the emergency room just a little while ago because this is my first child and the doctor yesturday said it was coming silently and would be anyday now. But at the emergency room they said they couldnt find my cervix and basically said I was making everything up. Should I goto my hospital ( its a 45min to and hour drive) or should I wait and see what happens? I dont get any answers at the hospital here.

i hear that more visable veins in the chest are a sign of pregnancy. How noticeable are they actually? Are we talking really prounced veins almost like spider veins...or just like your skin is more transparent and you can see them darker under the skin.

I had my membrains stripped last week at 39 weeks it did nothing. I had it done yesterday at 40 weeks. I am almost 2 cm dialated and 25% thinned. Has anyone ever had this done twice and did it work. How long after?

I have this WEIRD pain on the top of my uterus (this is my 3rd pregnancy)- it feels like I've pulled a muscle or something. It hurts whether I sit or lay or get up and move around. It seems kinda like it's moving downward too.

I know what contractions (real and braxton hicks) feel like, and this is not a contraction but does anyone know what this is?

I'm 37.5 weeks and have been dilated 1.5cm, 50% effaced, and baby at a 0 station for over a week.

I don't want to call the dr. over a pulled muscle, can anyone help?

I am currently 7 weeks and my question is..........is it o.k. to take a bath? i feel stupid because i have a 7 year old, it just seems like i havent been pregnant in forever and i don't remember every little rule! lol
i would call the doctor but it is 9:30 at night! :o)

I am 12 (almost 13) weeks pregnant and having sharp stabbing pains just to the right of my tailbone. It usually occurs when i stand from sitting or shifting my weight from one side to the other. It has been getting worse for the last few days. I've read this could be the sciatic nerve. Has anyone else experienced this? How can I releive the pain?

hi im currently 36weeks+
for the past few days i have had alot of pain and pressure down below my bump and at the bottom of my back, im so uncomfy i havent had a proper sleep (its 1.30am here)
i've started feeling sick during the night and my bowel movements have been looser than normal (sorry)
im not having contractions (i dont thnk anyway - i've been told i would deff know if i was!) so i'm wondering wether it sounds like i'm going to go into labour soon or hopefully still last to my due date.
if what im feeling is normal - will it get worse over the next few weeks :(

I have just finshed school and my fiance wants a baby..but i am soooo scared. I heard people say it hurts so bad and others say they didnt feel a thing. If I have natural what does it feel like and if i have a epidural what does it feel like? I really want a baby but pain really scares me.

ok I know there are alot of these on here but just because i am so freaked out of my minds I am going to ask anyway...Ok so i was on the pill for awhile...I had sex with my bf...and well a couple days after that i was spotting alil because it wasn't my period cause i just finished it like 2 days before...now i must admit that month i was consistant...due to other problems in my life...now I am like 2 days late for my period and I am cramping...bloating...my breasts hurt but not all the time just like pains ever so often...my lower back hurts...and i have been getting headaches...am I?...yes i will take a test...when i can get one...but i just hate worrying so wat does it sound like to you???

the wait is over IM PREGNANT! i hate waiting that amount of time.... but this is only the beginning.... this is my second pregnancy (my first i miscarried) :( and im worried it will turn out the way... what are my chances or two miscarries in a row... what can help me get through this :(

Sometimes my cervix feels achy and full, like it is tired of holding up my uterus and the baby. I notice it more after I have a BM (TMI, sorry), and it freaks me out. It is never painful, just achy and weird feeling. This is my first pregnancy, so I don't know what is normal and what might indicate an incompetent cervix. I have had no other problems, and I will mention this to my doc at my next appointment, but I'd like some advice before then. Thanks!

I am 31 weeks pregnant. I recently was transfered to a new location for work, which also meant my husband and I had to move over two hours away from home. The new place is extremely demanding and stressful. I feel like I'm being pulled in 100 directions non stop all day long. I eat right, and rest when I can(which isn't very often during the day) Is 31 weeks a "normal" time to start a maternity leave. I feel like I'm being weak, and I should be able to handle this..but I'm getting to the point where it takes me hours to recover when I get home. I know everyone is different, but I just want some imput to at least see if there are other women in similar situtations. Should I continue to try to "tough it out"? I'm afraid I'll put myself in the hospital before I finally say, 'enough is enough' Thanks.

I 've had one emergency c-sec, was put to sleep, & woke up to docs. pulling & tugging on my abdomen...i thought i would fall off the table, & felt as if they knocked the wind out of me. I couldn't get out of bed unasisted, had trouble even holding my child. The recovery was hell...

I'll be giving birth again very soon....& have the option of a c-sec or vag. delivery....

My sister in law, (who gave birth vaginally) on the 17th says that a c-sec doesn't compare to vag. delivery! That recovery from a c-sec is nothing compared to pushing a baby out of your ***** !

What do you think? What was your experience..? Which do you think is worse?

Im not talking about my boyfriend in particular, its just everytime one of my girlfriends get pregnant there bf dont seem to interested in them, or they cheat? is this all guys or do i just no some crapy ones? lol im 14 weeks pg, and it is affecting me and my boyfriend some, but not really.
