i started my period today and i am wounderin if it would b the best time to take the pregnacy test today? its been sence i think march 5 r it was febuary 26 it was on of those mondays i had sex and do u think it would give me the right answer for the test?

Just asking but why would you want to take a pregnancy test if you've started your period???

If you started your period, that's probably a sign that you are NOT pregnant. But if you have other symptoms that you might be, then you can take a test. Just having sex though...does not mean that you will end up pregnant every time. Good luck. Hope that you get the answers that you are looking for.

If you started your period then you don't need to take a pregnancy test.
YOUR NOT PREGNANT.
When a women has a period it means she isn't pregnant. The body is getting rid of the uterus lining where a baby would be.
THere is no reason for you to take a test.
If you miss your period then you can wait a week and take a home pregnancy test.

If you started your period today, then im sure you arnt pregnant. Some women do have "periods" while they are pregnant, but its rare. If you still just absolutly think you are pregnant, wait a few days after your period is over, and test! Im sure you arnt, but just so you can make sure..test again in a few days. No, you should wait until your period has stopped to take a pregnancy test. While you are menustrating, the blood in your urine can make your hcg level go up causing you to get a false answer. Just because you started your period does not mean that you may not be pregnant. One of my friends had her period for the first three months of pregnancy. Good luck and best wishes!!

If you were pregnat you wouldn't be getting your period. When you're pregnat your body starts producing a hormone that interupts your period and you stop having regular cycles. So most likely, you're NOT pregnat. However, pregnat women may experiance bleeding or "spotting" (very light bleeding) that may seem like a period. So unless you're period is very light I'm guessing that you're not pregnat.
