Pregnancy - March 2007

I am a college student and I'm in a very close relationship with my boyfriend. I have a irregular period and these pass fews months they have been coming in the begining of the month. My last period was Feb 9th unlike last year my period come twice in Feb and i still havent gotten my period yet. I have cramps and my breast are very sore like i have my period. Everytime I get a cramp i feel as though my period is coming but it still hasn't come. It hasn't been on my mind because I guess that my cycle may be changing but today was the day my boyfriend brought a HPT. I do have unprotected sex w/ him. What do you think?

first of all I don't need to be looked down and scolded I need help. I am worried about being pregnant. i am 16, and i made a big mistake and had unprotected sex and as of today its been a week from my period... it start but it only last for a day. could i be pregnant? im always tired. im stressed out about it though because i dont think i can bring it to a reality that i mite be pregnant. my family is religious and doesnt believe in sex before marriage. what do i do? i've had all the morning sickness, back pain, headaches, extrem tirdnesss. what do i do? i cant tell my mom r dad and me and my boyfriend are stressed out, i love him with all my heart and he loves me and we got ourselfs in to this we are gonna get ourselfs out.... i dont know what to do...

I'm currently 26 wks pregnant. I've been experiencing these odd nerve-like sensations in my pubic area and urethra (urinary tract) since I was about 8 wks. It feels like a tingling sensation, like if you were to have to pee, and I have it sometimes even after I pee. I have a low-lying baby, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I almost cannot tell anymore if I have to pee or if it's just that tingling feeling and nothing more. I've never had this sensation prior to pregnancy. I've asked my doctor about it and he says it's probably some weird pregnancy thing that will go away after the baby is born, but I'm very nervous. It's not really there when I'm lying down (unless my bladder gets really full), but when I stand up and start walking around, it's almost constant. It makes me really uncomfortable because it constantly feels like I'm going to pee myself, but my bladder doesn't feel full. Anyone else feel like this?

I went to my 20 week ultrasound last friday. They told me my son's head was measuring large. They said it could be in the genes. Anyone had this problem?

can the start of contractions(labor) feel like mild period cramping?... i'm 36 weeks and am having back ach and "mild" pain.. but they are regular.. every hour and a half or so...braxtion Hicks?

I have been bleeding quite a bit, it started very light around 3 am in the morning and early in the morning a bit more with cramps. I called my OB/GYN and he asked me to come in for a sonogram. The sonogram today March 20th looked just the same as it did the previous day March 19th (which was my first prenatal visit- when I was told I was 4 weeks along and there was no heart beat yet so I had to come back for a visit 2 weeks later). My OB/GYN said that the good news was that it look the same as yesterday with no rupture or issues in the sac but he could not explain why I was bleeding and to call if the pain increased or heavier bleeding because at the moment he could not assure me one way or the other. As the day went by I continue bleeding and cramping went on and off, no increase rather it stay the same. I have a little tissue in the bleeding as well. I would like to know if anyone here has experienced anything similar.Also after I pee I have heavier drops of blood.Please help!

I know people say dont eat anything with raw eggs,and i know the effects..but im just wondering if any of u ate raw cookie dough while pregnant? *the kind in the long package that u cut yourself*i am 21 weeks pregnant & I am craving it soo bad,so i just took a nibble...Any others that love this stuff and ate it while pregnant?

Okay. I admit it. I had sex when I was 12 and now I'm pregnant. I don't want to tell anyone, but by the end of the year I will probably be getting long contractions and giving birth. Some people say that I'm getting really fat and should lay off the junk food, but I haven't had almost any sugar in the past month! Please help me.

Is it just me or does anyone else out there not even know why someone would feel guilt over a c section? I heard some woman sad about "missing out" and "giving up"! I was in labor for 28 hours with a 10 lb baby, and although the decision was made for me to have a c section for failure to progress, and I know, I know, it possibly coulve been done vaginally, I had absolutely no qualms about the proceedure, before or after. It needed to end, it needed to STOP! I did all I could and was so grateful that my OB gave up, I had given up hope hours and hours ago LOL.
Now pregnant with my second, I am planning to attempt a VBAC as long as its what is in my babies best interest. I hear a lot of conflicting info on the safety, so all I could do at this point was find a doctor I trusted, and will trust until the moment of delivery. It's gonna be up to him because I am not a medical professional and have poor judgement, ie; 28 hours of labor with an impossiblely large baby. No guilt!

When doing an ultrasound on the mother , at what ages(weeks) could the doctor pick up the sound of the baby's heart beat?
Do u think 6 weeks is to early to tell ? Because the doctor couldnt find the baby's heartbeat. What does this mean?

I'm only 19 and forced to raise a child by myself. There is absolutely no chance that I will let my child's father have any part in it's life. So with that said, can it be done? Will I be okay? What if I have a boy...He'll never be able to have a father figure in his life.

I sure it happens all the time, but could some please share their story with me on how they were able to raise their child without a partner/husband? It would be really helpful and give me hope that I can indeed do this by myself.

----I'm definitely not having an abortion or giving it up for adoption, so please don't tell me to.----

i got positive reading from ditgal Clear blue...so happy dance 4 weeks pregnant/...
