I am glad to know someone out there is experiencing the same thing. I have a 14 year old and a 3 year old. I am pregnant now and about 8 weeks. However- I have already had to make a trip to the store for maternity clothes! Around five weeks- I was really bloated bad- and my stomach has gone down a little since then. Everyone that I am asking says that I am showing faster because it is my third. The funny part about it is- today at my first ob appt. the Dr. showed me how big my uterus should be- I thought "what a joke" what is the rest of this stomach then. Good luck- I think we are in for a long nine months! (SMILE)

Hmm this means you are carrying alot of water. However 5 weeks most do not show at all so it may not be normal to look five months.
How big was your stomach before? You could just be really swollen. Good luck to you because if you look 5 months at 5 weeks i cant imagine how you will look at 8 months. You poor lil thing.
Good Luck to you....I know i hate when i see ask your doctor in a post but this is a perfect scenario because you are extremely big to be so early in your pregnancy

If your first two kids were born pretty close together and this new pregnancy pretty closely follows the second, then, yes, you are going to show MUCH more quickly. Is there any chance you are just a little farther along than that, like maybe 9 weeks instead of 5?

well i'm kinda the opposite when i was pregnant with my son, at 5 months my belly was really big, im now pregnant with my second 18 weeks and barely have a tummy,im so relieved that im having an ultrasound next week because i was expecting my hump by now. but i have have that moms with previous children tend to get bigger faster. but if get concerned about getting exesively big talk to your doctor. good luck!!

I have 4 children and with my 2 younger ones, I always looked further along than i was. My midwife told me its generally because my stomach muscles weren't as strong as they were before having children. It could also be a number of other things, but this was my experience.

I showed very soon to and my doctor told me that since it was my fourth child that your abdomen muscle is not as strong because of already being stretched out so there for it poochs before you actually would like it to.

probabilities are it is only on the grounds that it's your 3rd being pregnant believe me I simply had my 3rd little one and I three months I appeared like I used to be five to six months they advised me it's on the grounds that I used to be on my 3rd little one. Good success.

Since we have had children already, we tend to show a lot sooner .
Don't stress about it. It is normal.
Don't let anyone give you a hard time about it either.

It's totally normal. You're showing earlier bcs your body has already done this twice before. Or you could possibly be having twins???
