I am a college student and I'm in a very close relationship with my boyfriend. I have a irregular period and these pass fews months they have been coming in the begining of the month. My last period was Feb 9th unlike last year my period come twice in Feb and i still havent gotten my period yet. I have cramps and my breast are very sore like i have my period. Everytime I get a cramp i feel as though my period is coming but it still hasn't come. It hasn't been on my mind because I guess that my cycle may be changing but today was the day my boyfriend brought a HPT. I do have unprotected sex w/ him. What do you think?

The very first thing to do is get your behind in to see a physician. The very minute your boyfriend shows up use a condom. Yes you might be pregnant. But with luck you might just be experiencing some menstrual irregularities that can easily be regulated with birth control pills or any other hormonal medication. Like I said Doctor--Condom. If you are pregnant it is important to know as soon as possible. I wish you all the luck. And from now on under no circumstances have unprotected sex. There are worse things than just getting pregnant to think about. Just ask your boy friend.

You almost sound like me. I have a very irregular period. It would come then not come for like a month or two then show up suddenly. However this last time. I was late but thought my period would come but i took a pregnancy test and it was neg. But then 3 weeks later i went to the doctor I found out i was 6 weeks pregnant so. I would take the test then go to the doctor since apparently they don't always work. I am happy to say though I have only 10 weeks left until my baby girl gets here.

Well like everyone I think you should start using protection if you dont want a baby. Second I would go to a doctor, if you are pregnant the cramping might be a bad sign, (eptopic, or a miscariage) or it might just be implantation cramps. But the only way to know for sure is to go the doctors, it might be too early to tell the earliest you can tell from a HPT is a week before your missed period

Did u take the Test? was it neg? take the test and if its neg. take another one in a week if u still dont have ur period. And if its still neg go see ur dr. and get on birth contorl it will help regulate ur period...

You are a college student and you have to ask if you could be pregnant after having unprotected sex??? Can't think of a more articulate way of saying duh! My question for you is why the hell are you having unprotected sex?
