I have this WEIRD pain on the top of my uterus (this is my 3rd pregnancy)- it feels like I've pulled a muscle or something. It hurts whether I sit or lay or get up and move around. It seems kinda like it's moving downward too.

I know what contractions (real and braxton hicks) feel like, and this is not a contraction but does anyone know what this is?

I'm 37.5 weeks and have been dilated 1.5cm, 50% effaced, and baby at a 0 station for over a week.

I don't want to call the dr. over a pulled muscle, can anyone help?

sweetie sorry to say i would call the Dr.Even though you do know what all this feels like it could very well be different this time, so it could be labor starting, other than that if the Dr has told you that you may take Tylenol then you could try a couple of them. good luck and best wishes

U should try and ask call the doctor about that. I dont think thats normal. I've never heard of that pain before. I know that if u have pain durins sex its because u have an infaction or u have clamidia. I just have a baby 4 months ago and i never got that kind of pain. Or mayb ur ready to deliver mayb the baby is siiting low but if she/he was sitting low u would feel like taking a crap. Well u should call the doctor to c wutz up.
good luck with ur baby.

hi sorry im not sure what the pain could be but i wanted to let you know that if you are unsure of anything you should never feel embarrassed or not go to the doctor.
about amonth ago i had pains at the top of my tummy and i got so worked up i went to the emergency doctor, only to be sent home with a big bottle of heartburn medicine!!! even though i had had heart burn before this felt diff! i was very embarrased but at the end of the day i was glad because it put my mind at rest.
doctors have seen and heard it all - don't be scared to bother them, esp when pregnant.
good luck

I really don't know 100% but it could be that you got bruised from the baby kicking, just a thought. Hope you get that baby out and start feeling better soon!

I don't know, but I wouldn't hesitate to call. So what if it is a pulled muscle, at least you'll have peace of mind. Don't chance it, make the call. Congrats on your soon-to-be baby. :)
