i hear that more visable veins in the chest are a sign of pregnancy. How noticeable are they actually? Are we talking really prounced veins almost like spider veins...or just like your skin is more transparent and you can see them darker under the skin.

they are not raised or anything, but are VERY noticable. My veins didn't start becoming very obvious until about 3 weeks ago and I am about 18 weeks pregnant

They look really huge (wide or thick) and you can see them all over your breasts and for me all the way up to my neck. Like someone has just painted you with blue lines. They are darker under the skin just a whole lot more pronounced. Thats always how my Mum knows I'm pregnant before I tell her!!!

The shallow veins you will discover have no longer something to do with how huge you will get, that's set by utilising your genes. I had the comparable communicate with my Dr a pair of vein on me and it would not correlate to something.

You can actually see the blue veins throughout your breasts. They don't stick out so you can't feel them. But they remind me of those balls with the blue electric currents in them that you find at some science stores.

I never heard about that. Veins in the chest when pregnant? Really? Perhaps you are referring to the veins seen on the abdominal area as the fetus expands, pushes the blood vessels towards the skin making it visible clear. You should talk to your doctor if you want professional opinion.

More transparent on your breasts is what I have experienced. I had never had it before pregnancy and it completely normal.

That sounds like it is just an old wive's tale...I don't think it is relevent to predicting if one is pregnant or not.
