Ok so I had sex with my boyfriend, but I do not take my pills regularly. Most of the time i do I am just am careless I guess. Ok so I am only 3 days late for my period but i had spotting about a couple weeks ago and a lil last week and I am cramping like i should get my period but nothing. I am getting headaches and my breats are sore. I get headaches which sometimes leads into dizzyness. Now it doesn't last that long but it continues through out the day. Now I feel nauseus sometimes and I am unbelieveably tired. Now could i be pregnant????

It is definitely possible to get pregnant even when taking the Pill correctly. I was 38 and had been taking birth control pills for 11 years with no problems when I found out I was pregnant. I had not been sick nor missed any pills. Our children were 18, 15, and 12 when our little surprise baby was born. Basically, anytime you have sex, pregnancy can occur even if you are using a combination of birth control methods. Nothing but abstinence is 100% effective at preventing pregnancy.

It sounds like you need to get a pregnancy test. You have the same exact symptoms I had with my third child. I've heard of quite a few people getting pregnant on the pill so it's very possible. The spotting that you had could have been implantation bleeding. Or, your period's just wierd right now... but I'd go get that test. Good luck!

When you take the pill every day at the same time there is still a chance of getting pregnant while on the pill. So, taking them sporadically means that your body does not have the hormones in order to prevent pregnancy.
I would suggest peeing on a stick.

Yep. You sure could be. I've gotten pregnant by missing pills. My first sign was breast tenderness too. A home pregnancy test should be able to tell you after you've missed your period. Good luck!

sounds to me like pregnancy. there is a chance of getting pregnant while on the pill, especially if you miss days. I recommend buying a home preg. test!
