Pregnancy - September 2006

My wife isn’t pregnant yet, but hopefully will be soon since we are going to try for a baby in a few months.

I heard pregnant women should not be in a house that has paint fumes in it.

We have one of our rooms picked for a nursery.

Should I paint the room now while she is not pregnant?

Or should I paint it when she is pregnant but make her leave the house all day?

The room was our guest bedroom, but is now nearly empty.

I had my ultrasound done today and they told me I'm six weeks but they did not detect cardiac activity. She said my hormone levels were normal but my progesterone was a little low. She prescribed Prochieve but I think I'm going to miscarry. Has this happened to anyone else?

month. I am already starting to show. ALOT! I could have gotten pregnant in July b/c my August period was really, really light and only lasted 2days. Most people say this was implantation bleeding. I took a test on 8/17 b/c I thought I was but it was -, the one on 8/25 (6 days before my period) was light +.Has this happened to anyone eles? Or does anyone have any advise for me.

I live in a small town. I went to the doctor at 4:30pm with the bleeding. they examined me and the baby was fine . they didn't know where the blood was coming from and my doctor would not come. they sent me home at 8:00pm. I came back at 10:00pm and he still would not come to examine me. He came in at 7:30am to check me and he told me i had dialated 5cm and he could not send me to a better hospital to where my baby could survive. so i gave birth to my baby on 8/31/06 and gave him a funeral on 9/3/06. I feel that if he would have came to the hospital to check on me himself they could have sent me to the better hospital in time. I don't know what to do.

My wife and I are planning our first child.

We have been together for 5 years, and are financially, mentally and emotionally ready to be parents.

I am looking forward to being a father and I am really excited it is finally happening.

We are going to start trying in January and every month that goes by I get more nervous.

I think when she actually does get pregnant I am going to have a panic attack.

Is it normal to get nervous about being a first time parent?

I feel like I did the first day of high school, excited but kind of scared!

Before I knew I was pregnant (hadn't even missed a period yet) I had one night or moderate drinking while we were camping. I would have been roughly two weeks, maybe three possibly. Could this do serious harm? Are my chances or F.A.S. really high now?

I have been late for my period for 2 months now. Last month I was about 3 days late, nothing to be worried about. Then this past month, I really thought I was pregnant, but my period came and was about 10 days late. I had a normal period for about 5 days (which is the norm for me for I usually have my period for about 4-5 days) then I thought it had stopped. Then 2 days later I spotted a little that was brown and then pink. On the 3rd day, which is today, I got up out of bed and felt something so I went to the bathroom and there was huge clots of blood. (sorry to be so graphic) I have had some minor clottiing before, but NEVER this much. What can this be from? I am 34 years old and my periods have pretty much been regular until the past 2 months, which I have been under alot of stress, so I wasnt too concerned about the late periods until I passed these clots today. Is this normal after a late period? Or could I have had a miscarriage?

hi i am 16 and recently lost my viginity to my bf about 2 months ago and we have had sex 6 times since we used a condom every time but the first. i have never had my period my mom was late too not getting hers till she was about my age and my aunt had her first period at 17. For last month or so i have felt bloated and tiered and sick too my stomache. can i be pregnant? Yes i took the test this morning line was really dark but second test was lighter positive? is the line suppose to be that dark?my bf says i cant be cause i have never had my period.

OK, I had my son 5 weeks ago and we had sex 2 weeks after he was born. We used protection but whne he pulled out the condom feel out, like it wasnot on. Anyway I spotted MOnday like literally one spot and I have been having cramps this week but no sign of period. I have been nausious and peeing more. Not sure if I could be pregnant. I fi had my son on August second and we had sex about the 16th of Aug give or take then how soon could I take a Pregnacy test? At what age do you think a girl you take birth control.. It's ok to take them, Remember that girls this days start having their period as early as 9!!
