I had my tubes tied 7 months ago, And I am scared of pregnancy, is it a good thing hubby had him self done to?

My aunt did, but it was also a tubal pregnancy, and she had to have an emergency surgery. I talked to my doctor about it ALOT! There is only one absolutely safe method. They plant springs in your tubes, and in 6 months they go back and check to make sure nothing can get through the scar tissue. If it can, they reinsert more springs, wait 6 months....... I went for a normal tubal. I didn't want to rely on birth control another 6 months! It is very effective, but if hubby wants a vasectomy, too, I say go for it!

My mother became pregnant after having her tubes tied. I think that the way they do the ligation now make pregancy virtually impossible. But it can still happen. If you want even more peace of mind, then have hubby snipped as well.
If you get pregant after tubal ligation and a vasectomy, then all I ca nsay is you need to go buy a lottery ticket.

I know of one person who got pregnant after having their tube tied, that was 20 years ago, but the procedure is done more efficient now. It is safe to say that you will not get pregnant.

If you had a tubal by a legitimate physician, I mean in a hospital and you still got pregnant, you should sue, sue, sue. Get the medical records girl and take their butts to court. Exhibit A is sitting right on your lap!
