I would say no. People do a lot of things that they shouldn't prior to knowing that they are pregnant. The important thing is to take care of yourself now that you do know.

Honestly any amount of alcohol can caused problems in the first trimester. No one knows for sure how much is too much. I had the same experience. I got really drunk about 2 weeks before I found out I was preggo. By that time I was 7 weeks preggo. My baby is extra-ordinarily smart and very healthy, so I got lucky, and you too probobly will have a smart and healthy baby, just don't drink now. What we do before we know we are with child is out of our ability to change, but what we do when we know is all in our control.

No you're fine. Your baby is fine.
I didn't know that I was pregnant until I was 6 weeks pregnant and I drank like a carefree engaged woman with no kids cause thats what I was! LOL! Anywho, my daughter is 11 months old and is perfect, no "defects" shes beautiful and healthy.
Just now that you know that you are pregnant no drugs or alcohol and even then a glass of wine here and there aren't going to hurt your child unless you have a difficult time saying no more after you've had one.
Be safe and don't worry.
Congratulations!!!

Don't freak out, I have a friend who did the exact same thing. Except she was highly intoxicated. (A half rack of beer, and who knows how many rum and cokes will do that to you.) She also got into one hell of a motorcycle wreck that same weekend (she was sober then.) Her daughter is 4 now and perfectly fine.
I some times think we have a grace period when we first get pregnant and don't know it. We can do all sorts of things that would normally be taboo for a pregnant woman and get away with it. Nature's way of saying, "okay, you get the first few weeks free, then you're on your own." LOL

I did the same thing! I was guilt ridden, but she is fine (11 years old now) She does have some learning disabilities, but they are the same ones I have, and my mom is a teetotaler, so I don't think it was because of a few drinks!
It does take a little time for the baby to move down to your uterus and implant, and a little longer for the placenta to form and really start going, so that maybe why you can get away with a little more. My doctor told me that was her theory anyway......

With my first child i did not even KNOW i was pregnant until i was almost 4 months along and i drank ALOT, obviously i stopped after i found out.
He was a healthy and normal boy when he came out and still is a healthy and normal boy for being 6 1/2 years.
Dont worry, your fine, as long as you stop, you have no need to worry. I was petrafied because of what i have done to the poor thing for almost 4 months.

FAS is more for those who drink daily while pregnant. I don't know what the risks are, I assum low. I know that I drank 3-4 mixed drinks at my husband's surprise birthday party on 6/24 and (unknowlingly at the time of course) I was about 1-2 wks along. My doc said it was nothing to worry about.

Don't worry. I had the same experience. I went out with friends because I was moving and had a few drinks. I was panic stricken when I found out a month later that I was pregnant, because of FAS, but my daughter was born beautiful and perfect.

FAS is a spectrum of symptoms and the serious stuff happens to women that drink regularly throughout their pregnancies. My guess is that a significant number of us were born to mothers who had a drink or two before they found out about us (I know I was... my mom's not a big drinker, but she and my dad decided to have a "last hurrah" weekend in Reno before getting pregnant... unbeknownst to them, it was too late!) We all turned out fine and I'm sure your baby will, too.
