Since you are 8 weeks pregnant,it's not safe to get a spray-on tan or dye your hair while pregnant because the chemicals from spray-on and the hair dye could have serious effects on the baby and result in your losing the baby before it is even born.

I am pretty sure it is not safe to breathe in hair dye fumes when you are pregnant. They say fumes of any kind are bad to breathe in. I would think that it is more dangerous in the first trimester because that is when all the baby's major organs are forming. I wouldn't risk it, but maybe you should ask the doctor. I dont know about spray on tans. Would you have to breathe in fumes?

I didn't get a spray on tan--but I dyed my hair when I was pregnant and my baby turned out just fine. If you want an "official" answer though, I suggest you call your doctor. Good Luck and Congratulations on everything!

honestly...your body is going through crazy chemical and hormonal changes...you might be unpleasantly surprised by the outcome...the hormones can make the color "not take" properly or come out wrong all together...and the spray on tan....I don't even want to think about the orange disaster that could be...
And on top of all that...why risk the baby's health over vanity?
Skip it.

spray on tans are ok, but remember your body is going through a HUGE change and I would not recommend coloring your hair. I was 20 weeks last time and I colored my hair,(figuring it was ok because i did it in my first preg.) But this time My hair turned bright orange. So if you are going to have a wedding I would recommend you tryed to not ruin your hair. Also the chemicals are not good for you to breath.
Congrats on the baby and wedding.

demise your hair at the same time as pregnant is positive. in basic terms make positive you're in a nicely ventilated section. word although, that at the same time as pregnant, your hormones can substitute the project of your hair and the way it reacts to being dyed - ie, it may no longer take the dye to boot, making the end result patchy, or it may take too nicely and be brighter/darker than predicted. continuously do a strand attempt before, and a patch attempt for allergies (cuz your hormones substitute your skin too)

The hair dye should be ok. But Im not sure about the tan.I wouldn't do it. Its not worth it to risk the health of your baby.Who knows it could cause a birth defect is a tan vanity worth the health of your child. I don't think so and I'm sure you don't either.

I think the the results are inconclusive on dyes, but I wouldn't use any sort of chemicals in the first trimester. That's when the baby is most vulnerable. Talk to your doctor first!
