Not too long. I know it may be scary for you but you need to tell your parents. They may react badly at first, but you are their daughter and they will come around in time. It is not safe for you or the baby to hide this. You need proper medical care.

I was 17 when I got pregnant with my first child. I am 5 ft 6 and I was 120 lbs then. Although I started getting a belly it wasnt the dramatic. I still fit in my size 3 jeans until I was 5 months pregnant. Although everyones body is different. I still think you should not hide it, because your going to need support from for friends and family. Trust me I know. I wanted to hide it, but in the end it was better that I got it off my chest. Less stress for you and the unborn child! None the less good luck with everything.

Coming from someone whom is pregnant again with her third child....You will start showing around 12-13 weeks. Right now i would assume you are around 8-9 weeks. So give or take you have about a month before you start to show. Alot of responses I have read is that you need to tell your parents or go to the doctor. Well, that was not your question and none of us know your exact situation but, at that note congratulations on your pregnancy.

if you are pregnant then it is important that you get medical help. You do not want to loose a baby because then you will most likely have to have your uterus cleaned out. Which is surgery. You need to step up and tell your parents and take responsibility. hope you are ready for the decisions you have already made.
oh and just so you know if you decide to have an abortion, they will put a big vacuum tube in side of you and basically rip out your insides, yes it does leave scaring and it does make it hard to ever have a baby again. Its possible but extra hard. I know.

Depends on what kind of shape your ab muscles are in. If you do crunches/situps on a regular basis and have a 'six pack', you can hide a pregnancy longer than someone who doesn't have tight/firm abdominal muscles. Your muscles will hold in your growing uterus longer than someone who's "out of shape", so to speak. I think most first time pregnant women start to show NOTICEABLY at about 5 - 6 months.

You can probably hide your belly until your about 3 and a half 4 months. The other signs like being tired , cravings and morning sickness probably not long. It would be easier to just tell your mom and text message your dad...thats wht I did.

It's not a very smart thing to do. It's not safe for you and the baby. Eventually people are going to find out, just tell them now and they can get used to the idea and help you get through this. Good luck.

You need to confide in a friend, family, or school nurse. To keep this quite isn't good for you or the baby. Telling your parents will be hard but I have found that parents will be mad, or cry in the beginning but in the end they will jump at the chance to love your baby, but you have to let them know.
