Before bed try bread, crackers, oatmeal or milk... also eat a bunch of little meals instead of three and there are these things called quesy pops which are lollipops in soothing flavors like mint that my sister is living on :)

Morning sickness normally subside around 13 weeks or when you start your second trimester. In your case you just started. Not all pregnancies are the same from time to time nor are they going to be like your freinds, or sisters, or whomever. The best thing to do is eat a carbohydrate before your eat your meal or eat your carbs first before eating anything else. Carbohydrates sit harder in your stomach therefor giving you the reflux feeling low cause you are settled. Try eating things such as potatoes, crackers, chips (non fat or low-fat), etc. That should make the reflux subside. Of course, if that doesnt work and still vomitting you will want to consult your doctor because of possible dehydration. Good Luck and Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Have you tried ginger biscuits? also dry toast is good for sickness, i wouldnt worry about it too much, when i was pregnant with my second child i didnt eat very well until i was about 5 months gone. I would suggest eating very small amounts throughout the day, up to six small meals. You could have cereal in the morn, with small pieces of fruit with it, a small sandwhich in the afternoon, soup at dinner and a youghurt and maybe toast at night. But if you are really worried you should go and speak to your doctor who will be glad to advise you, remember you wont feel like that all the way through your pregnancy, and after you get by 5 months you will wish you could stop eating!! good luck for the future

I had the same problem when I was pregnant with my first child. Everybody used to tell me to eat dry crackers and toast, but I never found that helped. I wish I could give you some great miracle food, but unfortunately I never found anything that helped. You eventually do get over it further along in the pregnancy. Just to be on the safe side, you should see your doctor in case you have an infection or some other illness. Good luck to you.

Ooooo....I feel so bad for you! Usually the sickness subsides by now.
I think I used Unisom for morning sickness. It's marketed as a sleep med, but it's supposed to help the sickness. Ask your ob-gyn/midwife first though.
You can also try those pressure point wrist bands. They didn't work for me but they might work for you!

You might try going to the doctor and asking for a drug called compazine. It was recently made pregnancy safe. It is called an anti-ematic (Stops vomiting.).
The only other thing you could is make sure you keep drinking. vomiting can dehydrate you and that is the last thing you want.

I was sick until about 6 months. My doctor told me to limit myself on sprite and saltines, due to all the salt in both. I was put on medication for it, and was also told that dried ginger will help to settle your stomach.

This may sound funny, but my sister-in-law used to eat Atomic Fire Balls to settle her stomach when she was pregnant. She said that was one of the few things that actually worked.
