Haven't you ever seen siblings that are 9 months apart? OF COURSE IT HAPPENS! It happens all the time.
You shouldn't be having sex at all! You are not suppose to have sex for 6 weeks. At least. Do you plan on having a baby this soon after giving birth. Every action has a consequence. You should be on birth control before you are having sex again, unless of course you want to get pregnant again. You may not want to get pregnant, but that is not what your actions say.
Just because your spotting doesn't mean anything! I had a baby 2 months ago and I still haven't gotten my period. And I still spot. You just had a baby! Your body isn't healed yet, that is why your spotting. Your cramping could also be from birth and delivery. And as far as the nausea and the peeing thing go...they don't happen that soon anyway. Many women automatically think that because they are peeing more, they are pregnant. Urinating more is not a sign of pregnancy. The fact that you urinate more comes from the baby pressing on the bladder. Which doesn't really happen til the 3rd trimester. So many girls are misinformed!
Get a pregnancy test. No one on this site can tell you if you are pregnant or not. Stop having sex! Its really not good for you yet. Your body needs to heal and it can't do that if you get pregnant again.

you really should not be having sex until your body is healed. That can cause serious damage to your body, and defects in your healing.
Yes you can be pregnant. You can probably take a home pregnancy test around the 16th of this month, that would be about a month after you had sex. Remember, you could have a false positive because you may still have the pregnancy hormone in your body from your sons recent birth. If you do get a positive home test, don't panic, just make an appointment for a blood test. Also, your periods are going to be a little messed up from having the baby, they haven't regulated themselves yet.
Good Luck!! And congrats on the new baby!!

Another thing that could have happened is that you had sex too soon. I hope it was mutual and your partener didn't preasure you or guilt you into it.

You see most doctors will schedule a checkup appointment about 6 weeks after the birth just to make sure everything is healing well in your lower regions. It is usually encouraged to wait at least this long before getting the go ahead for sex. Before this there is a risk of damage to yourself. The spotting and cramps could be a signal that you have done some damage. It would be advisable to stop having sex and to go see your doctor. A prolapsed vagina is no laughing matter.

I have a friend who has a daughter that has not yet turned three and a son who has just turned two. I have had several doctors tell me that the first few months following the end of a pregnancy are some of the most firtile months in a womans life. If you are not on birth control, you may want to look into that. Also, if you are supposed to get your period soon, you may want to look into a pregnancy test. You may just be a little paranoid right now about the whole thing, but definately try to get on some birth control if you turn out to not be pregnant.

It is possible to get pregnant again that early. Are you breastfeeding? If not you should have gone on the pill ASAP. I lost a baby girl on Fri Aug 11th at 21 weeks and my doctor started me on the pill (Mostly to dry up the milk) the following Tues. Breastfeeding, however is not a reliable form of birth control. My husband's aunt got pregnant TWICE while breastfeeding, so she has 3 boys VERY close in age. Take a test to see if you get a + result, and if you do, go to your doc for a blood test to make sure it is a new pregnancy, and not hormones left from your last pregnancy.

Anything is possible, really you need to wait 6-8 weeks after a delivery to have sex again unless it was a c-section.
If you take a p test it may come out positive because you may have the HCG in your system from the last baby (went through that part) I would go to the dr for sure to check..
good luck. PS. A woman is extremely fertile after having a baby.

My sister got pregnant 3weeks after having her son even though she didn't have her period. The OB/GYN I work for says it's rare to get pregnant again that soon, but obviously, it's possible. Take a pregnancy test in a couple of weeks if you still haven't gotten your period, assuming you're not breastfeeding (If you are breast feeding, then ovulation is suppressed and the chances of you being pregnant now are slim). Most non-breastfeeding mothers will get their first period 4-6wks postpartum, and it's not uncommon to have really strong cramps and increased urination (due the weight of the uterus) before it starts.

Yes you can get pregnant, i have a friend who went back for her six week check up and found out she was pregnant. So yes it can happen. I would wait till about mid sept, and then try for a pregnancy test, if not then you should be going in for an exam soon and they will defiantly be able to tell you. Main thing is don't stress over it, or your body will never let your period come naturally.

Having sex that soon was not too smart, I don't care how horny you two were. You could an infection or something. Pregnancy is also possible, but unlikely. Call the doctor's office and talk to the nurse. The longer you put it off the worse the problem could become. Your body has been through alot and needs some time to heal.

It is possible to be pregnant.

I had a csection in March and about 3.5 weeks later I had sex again and I'm not pregnant. I was paranoid that I would get pregnant, but those hormones can drive ya crazy :p

It's impossible to predict when your period will come. It varies after you've had a baby. Mine came back about 1.5 months later. And I pumped for the first month(baby couldn't breastfeed).
