My sis in law had an imcompetant cervix and her doctor didn't even notice and they lost a set of boy twins. I believe it was Brandon who died a few minutes after birth and Austin lived 24hrs

She had a new doctor when she got pregnant with my niece and he did a cerclage and they had a beautiful full term little girl. Raven is now 10 years old, happy and healthy.

Switch doctors, and stay on bed rest the next time that you get pregnant and you should be able to carry the baby farther and be able to at least keep him/her until they're far enough along to live in the NICU.

I'm so sorry about your losses and hope that you get pregnant soon, and are able to carry to baby to term and have a healthy and fairly easy pregnancy.

Good luck

I had an incompetant cervis and at 21 weeks I had to go on bedrest but I have heard that if you get a cerclage before your second trimester even starts and stay on bedrest then you have a better chance of staying prgnant. I had to be on be rest and my little boy will be a year old on the 27th. The reason I had an incompetant cervix is due to having cryotherapy to get rid of abnormal cells.

Good morning Precianna and Melissa...welcome to the class...that's a cerclage your trying to talk about...lol

And YES you will...you may want to switch doctors...it's possible that the cerclage isn't being performed correctly (that happened to my friend luckily she still made it...but baby was really premee) The doctor that removed the cerclage said that her regular doctor did it wrong!... Try another doctor and maybe consider bedrest...it's a long time....but a baby is worth it!

yes; at the beginning of your 2nd trimester the doctor can stitch your cervix (McDonald Stitch); when it is time for birth the stitch is removed; I delivered twins prematurely and incompetence was the cause; I have a daughter to prove that it can work!

the entire being pregnant journey became sort of undesirable for me. the 1st trimester i became sick the entire time and rather lost a job because of the fact I saved having to circulate abode or throw up contained in the decrease back each and every few hours. the 2nd trimester became extraordinarily good, yet because of the fact of my weight i did no longer coach, so no person believed i became actually pregnant. It became extraordinarily depressing. My 0.33 trimester became exciting and in all probability the perfect of the three. I gave the impression to be in a good temper perpetually and became ultimately exhibiting my abdomen! I had a number of the perfect intercourse of my existence for the duration of those months... lol. the only element i ought to ***** approximately became the terrible pelvic soreness. The surgeon mentioned the toddler's head became pressing down on my pelvic bones in a bizarre way, and it harm to sit down down, to stand up, to place down and that i could no longer turn over in mattress or lay on my area for the existence of me. All in all the 1st became in all probability the worst for me.
