your cycle washes out the ova so that would be usless after your cycle but you do not drop another ova for about 14 to 18 days so just before may not be best either. take your temperature every day for a month before you get out of bed your temp will show a very slight rise just before you ovulate and for about three days the third day is the best to try for a baby. good luck

they say 14 days after your period but it depends on how long your cycle is and stuff like that. I say right in the middle of your cycle. Get an ovulation kit, that helps.
Good luck

Everyone says that its best to have sex while you're ovulating. There are plenty of tests to help you figure out when you're ovulating. Even some test you can buy that are similar to pregnancy tests, but are for telling you when you are ovulating. I say have sex a week after you've had your period every other day. That way he can rest and save up his sperm, and you get a break to. Good luck to you both.

On day one of your period, you start counting each day until you get to day ten...so this would usually be about 3 or 4 days after your period is over. This is usually when ovulation takes place. Have sex every other day for about a week. I did this with all three of my kids and got pregnant on the first try with the first and third...second try with the second. Good luck!!!

Neither... the right time is just before your ovulation that is when one of your overy releases a mature egg ready to be fertilized. Ovulation normally takes places midway between your two periods. I will highly recommend reading more about this if you want to conceive soon to get your facts right. Hope these links help:

Before. if you wait until after, you may have missed your conception time because your menstrual cycle signifies the attachment of the egg to your uterus. Once there, it can still be fertilized, but if you wait until after your period, it may not be there to be fertilized. You can also try during your cycle and still get the results your hoping for.
