my man for 4 yrs. don't want to take his pregant girlfriend to the doctor appointment and iam upset. i want my man to be there so i feel good and he says it is a woman's job to stay home, care for the 3 kids, cook, and clean. he says that he should only work and make money and i should do everything else by myself. what u think agree or disagree.

I am currently 6 wks pregnant, and having a very hard time with dizziness and abdominal cramping. I have a history of miscarriages as well. I work a job that is extremely physical, and involves alot of heavy lifting, pulling, and other strenuous activities. I am worried that when I tell my employer about being pregnant, they are going to fire me, or demote me. What are my legal rights as far as not being able to do the lifting or other things I could do before? My doctor tells me to take a vacation for awhile, but there is no way that can happen. Any ideas on how to handle this?

My sister is 17 and was having a C-section done tommorow. She just went into labor with her kid ( I'm adopting it!!!!) What's a way to be calm in another's labor? I think its going to be very painful for her and things, with her being so young. We think it is a girl, but we could be surprised!!!! LOL!!! I will be here for a long time because they told me not to come until they make sure ( what the heck???????????????) but they said we'll check her out because they don't think she went into labor ( well their not sure) but who knows. I want to go now but I have to wait until my babysitter 15 year old Kelli gets here to watch my kids. Thanks 4 the help!!

I'm having my third baby and I'm not sure if another shower should be done. I had one with the first, a girl. Then another for the second, a boy. I'm having another girl and there is a few things that I need, but I'm not sure if another shower is appropriate. I would like to have a get together with all our family and friends to welcome the new baby, but not sure if it should be considered a "shower". I was wondering if a themed party after the birth would be a better thing to do. I was also wondering if anyone had any ideas for a theme. Like a diaper party or hand me down party. That way people done't have to shop for new items for a baby that is already getting a lot of hand me down stuff. Help.

My brother and his girlfriend are in the navy and live on the east coast. Everyone else in on the west coast. She is not having a baby shower because she doesn't know anyone where she is and we all can't get back there. So my mom and I were thinking of doing something here with all the family and friends. We were thinking of having everyone show up with their gifts unwraped so everyone can see and having a period in the shower where we wrap our gifts. We were also going to tape everything so that the mom to be can see everyone. Another idea we came up with is to take a picture of each guest with their wraped gift. We were wondering if this was a good idea and if anyone has ideas that we could use. My mom was going to pack all the gifts, photos, and the vedio and ship everything to the mom-to-be.

My husband and I want two children, three at the most. I want to be done before I am 30 for many reasons: be a younger mother, easier to conceive, lower chances of disabilities, etc.

We plan on getting pregnant next year when I am 24, the baby will be born when I am 25.

I have had a lot of people tell me that 25 years old is sort of young to just start having children, especially when I want to be done with pregnancies at 30.

I thought I was going to get crap for being too young at 25, not the other way around!

What do you think?

i just have a crazy craving sometimes i just wanna my husband not raw or anything thats weird more like grilled or on in sausage form on a sesame seed bun with relish and mustard and a diet cola preferably dr pepper. oh man im gettin hungry again i really love my hubby and i dont wanna hurt another one its just that i cant control this craving!! help im afraid that if i tell a doctor hell take my children and lock me up!!

I am 18 yrs old n my period has never been regular. I made out on 20 June and my panty was on but our parts were wet(Only precum). I have not had period till now, I know I should get a test but I cant. Im not experiencing any 'symptopms' although I have put on slight weight and my lower abdomen has become slightly round. Please can you tell if this is possible? Dont tell me to go to a doctor or take a test..? I am dying of worry. Pls can doctors or experienced mothers only reply?

A little update: a couple of days ago, I asked for help about my girlfriend being in her 12th week of pregnancy. As you know she left me. Well we talked yesterday, she doesn't deny that she loves me and this is hard on her, but she says I changed since we found out she was having our child. Everyone I know says, I have matured and have a different look on my face. Now we both quit smoking the day we found out and for the 1st week it was unpleasant. But It as been alot better. I just know if this is all hormones. What do I do? I just don't know, I miss her and I think about everything I will miss. Most people tell me to call her every couple of days and let her know that I love her and I'm here for her if she needs me, what do you think? Also, should I call her mom and dad? I only met them 1 time. We just went to their house on vacation 2 weeks ago. Please help!!!

i had sex on the july 7th at 3:00 PM
the condom broke but my bf did not ejaculate at all
took plan b morning after pill july 8th at 3:30 PM (around 24 hrs)
my expected period should start on july 17th
i took a home pregnancy test for early results, indicating that i can test as early as 4 days before my expected period
the result was negative - not pregnant
but its the 19th and my period is late
should i try another pregnancy test? would i be pregnant?
or is it just side effects from plan b that causes irregular period?

So I have a really good guy friend...his g/f told him she was preggo so he proposed. Then all of a sudden she wasnt pregnant...no bleeding no cramping she just miraculously wasnt pregnant. Was she just saying that to get him to marry her or did she maybe have a false positive on the pregnancy test? I'm only asking because I am kinda worried about him marrying her! She's really scandalous!

My periods have always been messed up but I have been on thyroid meds for about 6 months now. I thought that my period was straighting up until this month. I have been spoting every day for about a week or more. I haven't have much of an apitite lately and thats not like me I love food and the thought of it has made me sick. I don't want to gross anyone out but this is the way my period has been all week: My period starts and it is just anough to fill my pannties up so I change and I put on a pad and after i put on the pad it stops. It has done this to me everyday, it starts so I put on a pad and it stops, if I don't have a pad on it goes, this is driving me insane. What the heck is going on. I don't think I'm pregnant but I never know, me and my husband start thinking I am and I always turn out not pregnant. Could I be pregnant? if you don't understand what I just said ask and i'll try again.

There are a lot of confused opinions on the subject and the parenting and pregnancy section has questions from some scared and vunerable people, some of whom are very young. I don't really think this is the place to be calling them murderers, what do you think?

I have heard similar problems with religous zealots going into the Gay section to do a bit of queer bashing.

This is my first pregnancy but I never felt any symptoms. Is this okay? I am 12 weeks pregnant but I am so scared. I worry too much about my baby. I had sex with my bf and was painful for me. It felt like my abdomen was going to pop. During/after sex my abdomen was hurting. Is this normal? Did I harm my baby in any way? HELP ME PLS!

I am 37 weeks pregnant today. Yesterday I had a doctor appointment and found out that I am 2cm dilated, -1 station. I never did ask about what % effaced I am, does anyone know? Also, this is my second pregnancy. I was induced with my first and in labor for 18 hours. My doctor said yesterday that I was in the same place I am now with my first back then. My first was a girl and this one is a boy if that makes any difference. Please help. I am very anxious and nervous being that I am a stay at home mom and home alone with my 23 month old daughter all day.

I am 28 weeks pregnant with my first baby, and my doctor's office has asked me to come in for a Rhogam shot. I am a blood type A+ and my husband is a B+. I thought only people who were a negative blood type needed this shot?
